I called my doctor today and ordered a Blood Pregnancy Test, I should be hearing back from him tomorrow on when i can go to the lab to get it done.

However, my question is how long does it take to get the results?

I may be pregnant, but my period did come. I just want to be sure though. I did have some symptoms before i reveievd my period. MAde the appointment just to be sure!

Was it an accident.... or planned out? What happened with your baby weight? Did you end up gaining more with that one since you didnt lose all the weight yet? Im just kinda curious... did you prefer it that way or wished to wait a while in between. Just anything you can add about your experience would be great!

Yet another pregnancy question. I'm on the patch. Which was due to come off Saturday. And the normal period begin 3 to 4 days after. The day it came off, my boyfriend and I had intercourse and the condom broke. He did ejaculate inside me. I didn't have a plan B but was told to take a full pack of birth control pills, as that is the equivalent. I did to be safe. Its the third day and I haven’t started my period, but I’ve been having menstruation-like cramps the last two days. How worried about pregnancy should I be since I "should" be starting my period and I took the pack of pills?

I'm due to have my baby any time. Like 98% of the women I've talked to have encouraged me to get an epidural. I'm terrified of having a needle stuck into my spinal column. There is always a slight chance of paralysis, right? I could possibly jump or twitch when they put the needle in me or something. Anyone else scared or was scared of it?

I've been dialated at 1cm for about 2 weeks. Two days ago, I was checked again, and I am about 50% effaced and still at 1cm. My cervix was also back at my tailbone. How much longer do you think I have before I give birth? The nurse gave me 1 to 3 days, and this is day 2. Anyone have personal stories about the same situation? ( I'm 36wk 5d)

My husband and I are goinn to try for our first baby next year.

I will be 24 when I get pregnant if all goes well.

I am planning to work out a lot before I get pregnant, and then while pregnant I am planning to walk as much as I can, and exercise with pilates and yoga and light weights.

Did being in shape make a difference?

Were you not in shape? If so how did you feel?

I am hoping being in great shape will make everything go smooth.

Im 30 years old and have two children,7 & 12 years old.The 12 year old lives with his father and the 7 year old with me.Any how,I just found out Im pregnant.I dont believe in abortion unless Ive been raped and this isnt the case.Me and my boyfriend have known each other for 4 years but had been together for 3 years.Now we have broken up permanently.We planned to have a child but I lost the last child 9 months ago.Now Im pregnant and we are not together.I have not told him yet because I want to wait until Im past 3 months pregnant,because what happened with the last one and I dont want to him to feel as hurt like the last one.Im financially secure and have a roof over my head.Doing quite well in other aspects of my life but,I dont Know what to do about the baby if I were to carry it full term?Keep it?or what?What whould you do.I do know any thing could happen possibly with the pregnancy..But I still have to think what if...What should I do?need some advice please.........

i'm a mum of 2 and have ( what the midwife said) the worst stretch marks on my tummy and legs.Very deep indeed.
I just wanted to know your views on these horrid little marks?
Do you feel restricted when it comes to buying clothes etc?
I have to say ive learned to live with them for 8 years now and my husband loves me for who i am.Although I wish I could wear a bikini without seeing them.

My husband and I have been good friends with a married couple for 5 years. They now have a two and a half year old son and a 6 month old baby.

I really love this family, they are good people and my friends are amazing parents. We see them as much as we can, about once or twice a month at their home.

Problem is that I really want a child, my husband agreed to start trying next year for a baby, but everytime I spend time with their kids it actually makes my heart hurt!

I am almost jealous because they have precious children and its the one thing I want most in my life right now.

I still want to see them, and I know it will be fun when we all have children, but how do I deal with it until I am pregnant with my own?

I am 23 years old, my husband and I have been together for 5 years and we plan to start trying for a baby next year.

I told my husband that I didn’t want to wait much longer to start a family, he said he was ready too. For the past 6 months my desire to have a family with him is getting worse.

I feel ready. I have a college education, a house that will be paid off next year, and I have a stable job that I really love.

I don’t feel like I have missed out on anything! I have done everything I wanted from traveling all over, to skydiving to college! I feel almost complete except I don’t have a family yet.

I have lived on my own since I was 18, I never did drugs, partied, slept around, or drank. I guess I have always been very stable even growing up. Happiness to me is staying home with my husband and dog. :)

Why do people say I just want a baby so I have something to love me? I am not 16, I will be 25 when I have the baby.

I don’t understand it!

If you have cats in your home while you are pregnant you should NOT change the Cat Box!! Have someone else do it. There is a chemical that can affect your unborn child. Look it up.

I took castor oil last night (after hours of research) and woke up this morning with contractions that were consistant and 3 to 4 min. apart. Went to the hospital being 1 cent. dilated and 75% affaced and left the same way 4 hours later even with the painful contractions. Is this false labor due to the oil and why am I not dilating??? I am 40 weeks by the way.

I got my first depo shot april26 I still had regular periods until now and my next shot is july26.On june26 i had an period and after that me and my boyfriend had sex. I was already having symptons like shortness of breath,tiredness,nauseated,chest pains,and cramps.I even have the dark line from my navel down to the start of my pubic hair and i have never been pregnant before.When i went to the doctor he told me that the shortness of breath and chest pains in teen females come from pregnancy.My next shot is due next week on the 26 and im still waiting on my test results from.And i really want to know what its going to say.it took them about 3 or 4 weeks to call my friend to tell her she was pregnant. What do you guys think
