I've been dialated at 1cm for about 2 weeks. Two days ago, I was checked again, and I am about 50% effaced and still at 1cm. My cervix was also back at my tailbone. How much longer do you think I have before I give birth? The nurse gave me 1 to 3 days, and this is day 2. Anyone have personal stories about the same situation? ( I'm 36wk 5d)

Last week I was dilated a little over 1 and 50 % effaced.And i'm still pregnant.So I wouldn't get your hopes up.

I dont have personal stories that I can really share without other peoples consent but I say 3 more days from experiences I have heard about, that is a rough estimate though. Good luck with everything on the flip side though.

you will hear this alot every woman is different. you can go at any time. once labour has started your dilation can take for ever or go rapidly. the first centimetre takes the longest to get to after that it generally goes rather quickly even though it doesn't feel like it at the time. have you started nesting? meaning going on a cleaning spree throughout the house, the more you move about the faster it will come about. you may actually go another week or so but I doubt you will go to term. congratulations have fun.

you want to keep the baby in the womb for as long as possible if it comes out to soon it will have to go into icu for babys and if it is a boy to give it a chance to deleop longer. i was their i went to my 37th week you will go then

forever i have been dialated for a month and am 3 days over due soooo...... who knows none of that crap means anything
