usually it does drop right before birth, but that may not be the case. you should ask your dr, not yahoo.

Yes, normally when your stomach drops it means that the baby is positioning it's self to come out of the birth canal. and shouldn't be to long before you deliver.. it is alot more comfortable for breathing but it will be pressing on the bladder and you will have to go more ofthen now.. when you get a burst of energy and most people get all there cleaning done at this point.. that is when it is about delivery time.. and almost everyone i know of has had this happen right before the baby is born.. congratulations

at 33 weeks I don't think you have really dropped, just the baby has moved into another position which may make it easier for you to breath. But if you feel more pressure "down there" you may have dropped. I would have a checkup with the doc to make sure your aren't headed to preterm labor.

When your stomach drops, it means that your baby is getting ready for birth, but still you could be weeks away. If you are concerned talk to your Doctor.

Most of the time yes, when your stomach drops that means the baby is going into the birth canal.

I went two weeks over my due date and never dropped!!! One morning I woke up and could breathe and noticed that I dropped and I ended up having her within 48 hours.

If this is your first child, it's normal to start dropping weeks before your due date. And, even if it is not your first, it is most likely normal, although you could call your doctor to check just in case.

It is one sign that the baby is getting ready. Don't rush to the hospital yet, Delivery could still be weeks away.
