My periods have always been messed up but I have been on thyroid meds for about 6 months now. I thought that my period was straighting up until this month. I have been spoting every day for about a week or more. I haven't have much of an apitite lately and thats not like me I love food and the thought of it has made me sick. I don't want to gross anyone out but this is the way my period has been all week: My period starts and it is just anough to fill my pannties up so I change and I put on a pad and after i put on the pad it stops. It has done this to me everyday, it starts so I put on a pad and it stops, if I don't have a pad on it goes, this is driving me insane. What the heck is going on. I don't think I'm pregnant but I never know, me and my husband start thinking I am and I always turn out not pregnant. Could I be pregnant? if you don't understand what I just said ask and i'll try again.

I don't really want to buy a pregnacy test I have spent so much money on these things and it always says no. But if I don't this time I'll be pregnant but if I do I'll just be throwing money out the window.

This happened to me a week or so ago! You will get your period in a few days most likely. Mine was slightly different, I am coming off the pill. They say that once you learn to relax and stop worrying BOOM! your pregnant!!! So I have stopped worrying. Relax it will happen if you want it to. You do need to see a doctor. They will give you advice on how to have a healthy pregnancy, like taking vitamins before you get pregant, go ahead and quit smoking ect. So go see your doctor!

GOOD LUCK TO YOU!

If you've missed a period, try a home pregnancy test kit. If it tests positive, you should continue testing the next two days with two different brands to make sure it wasn't a false positive. Or, you can always just go to the doctor's to confirm it.

However your spotting sounds a bit heavy if it stains your whole underwear. I would suggest it is best to see a physician immediately. If you are pregnant, the heavy spotting could endanger the child. If you are not pregnant, it could be your period just being irregular, or it could be vaginal bleeding, which could mean more serious issues. When it comes to health, it is best to clear it up with your doctor immediately.

EDIT: If you're worried about cost, you could always just call up your physician first (the one supplying your thyroid meds), and check with him. If he advises the pregnancy test kit, then just buy a cheap one first (maybe from a dollar store like what everyone else suggests?)

Good luck!

You could be preg. but the fact that you have irregular periods suggests that you might not be. Have you seen a doctor concerning your irregularity? You should. Are you trying to get pg?

I know you are anxious to find out. Really all you can do and wait for either a heavier period or more symptoms of pregnancy, which would be sore breasts, nausea, tiredness, and no more bleeding.

Try and not focus so much on this and let time tell what is happening.

Could just be a mix of things including your hormones. But best way to find out is a pregnancy test buy a 2 or 3 store brand one or if you have a dollar store around your area get one from their. They work believe me! Other wise wait it out a bit more and see what happens or go see your doctor. But sometimes the home test is cheeper than your copay to see the doctor.

If you've had sex pregnance is always a possibility. But what you are explaining sounds similar to what happened to me in the past. I had to go on birth control pills to regulate my periods. If this is your problem and you are trying to get pregnant they will discuss fertility drugs with you which is what I had to do to get pregnant with my daughter since I had period problems.

If you suspect you're pregnant, the first thing to do is use a home pregnancy test. They're effective after you miss a period.

Try a pregnancy test. A very cheap one first! You don't want to pay a lot of money if you've been let down before.

Take a test honey it is the only sure way to go about this.
Dont worry about it though because stress may cause fake symptoms.

Good luck
