So I have a really good guy friend...his g/f told him she was preggo so he proposed. Then all of a sudden she wasnt pregnant...no bleeding no cramping she just miraculously wasnt pregnant. Was she just saying that to get him to marry her or did she maybe have a false positive on the pregnancy test? I'm only asking because I am kinda worried about him marrying her! She's really scandalous!

Just how well do you know this guy? If you have known each other for long time = then tell him in a gentle caring ( non controlling ) way. It is his life and the final decision IS his to make. All you would be doing is saying you care about him. If he should make a decision that you don't agree with - "let it go" and take of yourself .

You can't get a false positive on a hpt, perhaps she was late and jumped the gun saying she was pregnant before she knew for sure, as for a miscarriage... she probably would have noticed something. But this is really not your problem to deal with or try to figure out.

You can't have a false positive - you can have a false negative, but not a false +. As for the "miscarriage" - doubtful. No bleeding? Nah, he's been skanked, good style IMO.

this is no such thing as a false positive. there can only be false negatives. once hte test picks up the hormone than pregnancy is confirmed

I would think she was just saying it, but only her and God knows. If you have concerns about him marrying her, then tell him. But make sure it isn't because you are jealous of her and want him for yourself.

well if she was lying then he can still back out cuz he only proposed..next time she says she is, he needs to be there to see the results..

I think that's none of your business and your friend can think for himself and if he marries her then that's his problem not yours. Worry about yourself, he can take care of himself.

I think she knows exactly what she is doing - its wrong but it seemed to have worked. You should tell you friend that you are concerned for him.
