It is an individual response. Some women bleed, some women do not. Either way, it is perfectly normal as long as the bleeding is not severe. If the bleeding lasts for more than a few days or is particularly heavy, it might be a period. If it is not at a normal time in your cycle, I recommend seeing your doctor as soon as you can.

As for personal experience, I am due to deliver soon, and I never had implantational bleeding. I have friends who have experienced it.

It is possible to bleed from implantation but it doesn't always happen. Some women bleed and some women don't. It usually light bleeding like spotting. Implantation is when the fertilized egg attaches to the lining of the uterus, so you are already pregnant. First the sperm fertilizes the egg in the fallopian tube then the fertilized egg takes 6 to 12 days to travel to the uterus to implant.

only some women experience mild spotting when implantation happens. It happened to my mother, but I've got two babies and I didn't bleed when I got pregnant with them.
