First of all I cant imagine loving another baby like I love him.

And then, I remember the 17 1/2 hours of labor and terrible pain after.

Did anyone know after #1 there would not be a #2?

She has been on Enfamil, Gentlease, Prosobee, Similac Alimentum, and now Nutramigen. With all of the other kind she either was spitting it up or acting like she was in pain. She has been on Nutramigen now for a week. She did ok with it at first but now every time after I feed her, she immediatley has a bowel movement. Yesterday she started acting fussy and today was even worse. Someone told me to go but gripe water, so I did and now she is asleep. Has anyone had gas problems with Nutramigen?

Scroll all the way down and look at all the other beds....They are so pretty. I love that crib but the price tag is too much..I just wanted to know what you all think.

I heard that for babies getting the flu shot for the first time, they have to get two, one month apart.

However, my baby didn't get her second shot last year, when she got the flu shot for the first time. Now that she's 16 months and got her flu shot again, should I take her back after a month and get the second shot, or does it not matter anymore?

My son is a year old and we want to start putting him on whole milk a few times a day to slowly wean him off formula. How much and how often should we give it to him? I figured that we shouldn't just switch...perhaps start out with one bottle of whole milk a day? Has anyone's kids had problems switching?

you normally make powdered formula with hot water, but I have a plastic one. Should I buy a glass bottle or mix the formula and cool it before putting it in the bottle? I'm really concerned

My normally calm and happy son (7 months old) will not stay still when I change his diaper. He screams and tries to get up. He has no medical problems or diaper rash. He is just hyper and doesn't want to stay still. Any advice? I have tried giving him toys to play with it doesn't work.

how do you come back to reality and try to make baby happy ???

I tried feeding which made him madder .....
so I carried him which made him consoled, but when I went to put him down he started screaming again ...
I tried singing while letting him stand ....which did not work today ......
so I held his hands while he "walked" into the other room with me over to a mirro where he tried to give his reflection a hug ....
that helped .....
and then he was hungry .....

alot of work and alot of fun ???

I would prefer the rainforest take along swing to the big one, cause I can take the take-along swing on visits!

Is it as good as the bigger swings though?

I in my earlier months of pregnancy, got overly excited and was planning on getting a bouncer seat, a swing, and a jumperoo (all by fisher price rainforest.) I thought they all served different purposes. But then I read it would be a waste of money to buy everything, and just to buy a swing or bouncer for those early months, then later on get the jumperoo.

The take along swing would be good to take around on visits, and so would the bouncer. Both small and lightweight. But, which one should I get???

I was just wondering if you play any kind of music or white noise for your baby when you are putting them to sleep? What kind and how long do you leave it on? Do you think it effects your little one in anyway? Just curious about your experiences...

I just recently read an article in a parenting magazine about a family who did the cosleeping thing and now that their child is 7 years old, he still will not go to his own bed. Don't think I buy that, but what's your plan?

my sister was induced monday morning at 37 1/2 weeks due to pre-eclampisa. during the labor she was given magnesium sulfate without being told that it could cause serious side effects with the baby. after 13 hrs of labor she started pushing. While pushing the fht dropped to 32 and the baby didn't recover. She was rushed to emergeny c-section. Baby was born and was needing oxygen. Kaylee was born at 645pm and at 415am she was flown to childrens hosptial because she was having trouble breathing. Once she got to childrens she's been perfect. All tests are pointing to the magnesium sulfate causing the problems. When we approached the hosptial where she deliverd and the nurses, they keep avoiding the questions. I want to know is it legal for them to administer meds without tell the patient it could cause complications...what should we do. please help

The following are some info about my baby so that one can diagnose easily:
1. He is 10 months old.
2. He is bottle fed.
3. He drools a lot.
4. It seems that his drool smells.
5. He is normal means not suffered by cold or anything else.

OK - My daughter is 16 weeks old. She is 24.25" long, but only 10.15 lbs. She was 8.14 at birth and lost 12 oz before she started gaining weight. She is now in the 5th percentile for weight and I'm worried. She is exclusively breastfed and eats 6-10 times a day for about 20 - 30 minutes at a shot. (I feed on demand). I have good milk production - pump 3-5 oz per breast. She has a BM after almost every feeding, about 6 - 8 a day. They are somewhat liquid, especially in the AM when she hasn't eaten in a while (she sleeps through the night or only gets up once). However, they are not frequent nor wet enough to be considered diahrrea (at least I think so...). Anyway, do you think this is normal? How much does/did your 4 month old weigh?

Or just monitor him and see how he's doing? Is there anything I can do at home? Thanks!
-My husband just picked him up and says he is happy and smiling as usual so, he seems ok. I am stuck at work. :(
