I have a 2 month old child and she constantly has a stuffy nose, the doctor told us to use nasal saline for babies and drop a couple of drops into her nose, then suck it out.....it doesn't really work. Help please....so tired......

He had a high fever for a few days and now has red little blotches all over his body except for his arms and legs. He still acts fussy and wants to be held. He doesn't have a fever anymore. Anyone know what it is?

This has been the norm throughout history but you don't hear about it much anymore, at least not in this country (the US). I don't have any kids by the way, I am just curious as to what you think or if you know of anyone in the west that has done this at all.
Thanks

My son ate baby squash for 4 days. 2 of the days he had pretty runny poop the other 2 were normal. Do you think this could be some sort of allergy. I am really hoping that it was just a coincidience (sorry cant spell that) b/c he loved it sooo much. He didnt have any tummy pain it was just really really runny. I was going to go a 5th day but he loves it so much he wanted to eat the rest of the pack on the 4th day. I had to let him have it.

ideas?

My son doesn't have any teeth but I would like to give him something other than formula and baby food. Should I allow him to feed himself the baby food with a spoon? What other things are okay for him to eat even though he doesn't have any teeth yet?

Did you deliver your baby at 37 1/2 weeks or around that time? If so, how much did he/she weigh? Thanks for your time!

My baby was borned in October 19 and now nearly 1 and half months. These few days, I noticed his **** very smelly. I just wonder whether this is a sign of indigestion or stomach upset? He does not have constipation so far. Can anyone tell me if you ever come across this matter.

my son is 4 months old and he sleeps with me. I like it and he likes it! I nurse as well so that makes sleeping A LOT easier. Now my new problem is that he started rolling over and he loves that he can do this and does it all the time. He sleeps next to me so hes always in the middle. I worry now though bc of this. Tips? And please dont say move him from my bed :( I dont want to do that.

Just curious what kind of lotions and creams and cleansers everyone else useson their babies/toddlers. I am also interested if anyone makes their own. I hear olive oil is good but I have not tried it. Also, my baby has eczema so if anyone can recommend any good products for it, that would be great!

I am pregnant with my first and planning on breastfeeding and using cloth diapers. My husband and I decided that was what we wanted to do, both for the money savings and for the health of the baby.
The problem is his mother. She doesn't agree with the choices, she would much rather we use formula and disposable diapers because they are more convenient. This would not be an issue, but she is going to be helping us out with baby sitting several times a week (we both work full-time and odd hours). As far as the diapers go, if she is going to supply the diapers then it's not a big deal, the baby can wear pampers or whatever while he/she is with her. I have a bigger issue with the formula.
I DO NOT want the baby on formula. I am going to be pumping breast milk and preparing it ahead of time so I don't see how that's any less convenient then formula. How can I make her see that this is OUR baby and she is going to have to respect our wishes about the food he/she eats?
