My son ate baby squash for 4 days. 2 of the days he had pretty runny poop the other 2 were normal. Do you think this could be some sort of allergy. I am really hoping that it was just a coincidience (sorry cant spell that) b/c he loved it sooo much. He didnt have any tummy pain it was just really really runny. I was going to go a 5th day but he loves it so much he wanted to eat the rest of the pack on the 4th day. I had to let him have it.

ideas?

I don't think it was an allergy. Squash can soften the babies stools. Give him some rice with it or some banana's with it.

My daughter is 8 months old and also loves squash. We make her fresh butternut squash and acorn squash and she love the fresh ones even more.

I don't think it was an allergy, just the fact that the squash can soften his stools. Give him so bananas which will help keep the stools from getting too runny.

Some vegetables tend to make babies stools runny. Unless he had a tummy ache or you noticed a rash on him then I wouldn't worry about it.

probably just a coincidence.. if it was an allergy I would think he would have been fussy over it. At least thats how it was when my girls were little with sweet potatoes- they get REALLY fussy when they ate them
