I love Pampers but dang they are expensive. My son leaks in Huggies and Parents Choice.

I want to keep him in Pampers at night but want to get a less expensive for days.

What is the best of the generic :)

I used Parent's Choice and had great experience. I know you said those have leaked with you. I also tried the Target brand and they also worked great. The name brands were just too expensive and the Walmart/Target brands worked great for me so I never bought Pampers or Huggies.

I only used grocery store brands 1 or 2 times and I did NOT like them. I would recommend Target since you didn't like the Walmart ones.

I've tried the cheaper brand diapers that Wal-Mart carries.. Luv's, Parent's Choice, etc and my son wakes up soaking wet.. or poo half up his back (don't ask me why). We have to use Huggies. For some reason those are the only diapers that work for him, but they are so bulky. Plus side is, they have no scent. We do use Parent's Choice formula on the other hand. My son had a lot of problems with Similac, so I decided to give it a try, because it was half the cost. Turns out it works great for him. Who would have thought?

I belong to Bj's wholesale club and we've used their brand Berkley and Jensen brand for about 3 1/2 yrs. on our two boys... For a box of 176 diapers it's around $23 and they always have coupons or specials.... We've never had a problem with them leaking or anything and if you do they have a money back guarantee.... We also like LUVS.. Bj's wholesale also takes manufacter coupons... As well as manufacter their own Bj's coupons that you can combine !

If you think the membership is expensive split it with another couple/family... We give our "spouse" card to a friend so we split the member ship 50/50 so it's about $25 bucks a year...

Good luck

Cheap diapers don't end up being any cheaper- because you go through 2 times as many of them and you spend the other money doing extra laundry from leaks! I used to use parents choice- and then switched to pampers. At first I would use parents choice during the day and pampers at night... but now i just do pampers 24/7. She never leaks anymore- and i'm not changing her diaper every hour to prevent leaks.

I really like LUVS and you can sign up for there mailing list and get coupons from 2-5 dollars off. At wal-mart they are usually between 16.99-18.99 and then take the coupon off so anywhere from 12-15 dollars. Also LUVS is the off brand of Pampers so they a comparable. Also Target makes a great diaper a 106 pack for 13.99.

BUY B'Js!!!! I have three sons, one wore Pampers, we paid a lot and he got three rashes on his little tush, the second one wore Huggies and had 4 Rashes and finally my third wore only pampers from B'J'S (The club superstore) not only do they cost a quarter of the other expensive diapers their quality is unmatched, we are talking soft cloth here, PLUS he never got a arsh and the diapers were absorbent, beautiful, soft, once you try them you will not change them.

i love pampers and huggies, but i have here recently been looking for a cheaper price diaper....so what I'm tryin right now is Cottontails-taking shape.....i have never seen them before i found them in Stop and shop...they seem to be working pretty good....a bag of 40 was $7.89, which is good compared to huggies or pampers a bag of 40 for them is 10.00 so saving couple dollars...I want to try LUVS but i never can find them...i aways see them on TV but never in stores..

I'm not sure of the name of them ,but the ones from Dollar General work VERY well! I use them on my 4 month old and I used them on my oldest child until she was old enough to wear pull ups (and I buy their brand of pull ups also!) I have NEVER had any leak throughs!
