my baby anthony is about to turn 5 months on jan. 1 and recently when he is hungry and if im out of the room... hell start screaming. and i mean scream. i dont know why. what am i doing wrong? i love him so much but im getting so fustrated. hes been on rice cereal for about a month now and hes been fine... so happy! last night when my mother in law came home.. we were rotating with the baby. i had just fed him and gave him a bath and went to put him down to sleep and he was fighting me so bad. i was almost in tears. i tryed everything. now hes already colic with acid reflux but i thought he was over that. he hasnt been like that in about 2 months now. its just when hes hungry. so anyway i made him 2 more ounces and he fell right to sleep in my arms. why is this happening? is this normal? i dont know if i should call the doctor. i dont know why he screams. please... anything advice would be really appreciated. thanks

So i will not be able to breastfeed. I know that in other countries there are women who for a cost provide their breastmilk, is there such a thing in america? Should i try and obtain some breast milk so i can maybe do 1/2 breastmilk 1/2 formula for 3-6 months, or should i just go with formula? My only issue with buying breast milk is how do you *REALLY* know that the breast milk is clean, good, and from a healthy non drug using mother? I have friends who breastfed and friends who went all formula, i kind of dont really care that much b/c my only choice is formula... but i guess if it is that much better i would buy it, of course if it is no more expensive then formula.

Some one i know is feeding her baby herself(taking meds she doesn't need to make her produce milk)Her daughter is 3 months was born 6lb7oz and now weighs 9lb 7oz.She feeds her and 5 mins after the baby is screeming for food so she gives her 3 oz (from a bottle)which she finishes in no time. Why does she not bottle feed her if that is how she feeds best.Even the doctor said the baby's tongue is a shape that makes it v hard for her to breast feed.I just think the baby would be more content bottle feeding as breast is not working.

My daughter is 6 old. I was told to keep changing up her baby foods because to give her one food too long would cause food allergies. Only, she is an incredibly picky eater. She is breastfed and simply will not take breastmilk from a bottle and as for formula, forget it. She will drink regular lactose free milk and apple juice. And as far as her food goes, I have narrowed down the few foods she does like and have been trying gerbers mixed puree's. What i'm worried about is making her allergic to different fruits and veggies. For example. Banana is her favorite, so i tried banana strawberry apple and she liked that and now we've move to something else. But i'm afraid to try anything else with bananas in it. So, will it cause allergies to apple juice, lactose free milk, or any other fruit if they are in puree's if I change them from week to week?

I have a five month old boy and my pediatrician told me he's not gaining enough weight because my pregnancy has stopped my milk supply. I have been pregnant for about a month. And my baby has not gained a single ounce in that time. She said that my body stopped producing the hormone that produces milk because it would cause labor. I have currently switched to bottles to keep from starving my baby but am trying to find a way to breast feed again. If you have any advice please help.

a woman was sitting in the OPEN inside a window display at a store in the local mall. She was facing the shoppers outside the store, but admittedly there were mannequins spaced in front of her. The manager of the store politely informed her that there were specific areas where she could feed her baby and further advised her that both men and woman and girls and boys came into the store. The manager was very nice about it. But the woman protested , saying very loudly that her baby was 'hungry' and that she was going to feed her! the Manager again asked her to please go to the facility he'd told her about.
Well, the woman pulled her baby from her breast, lifted her breast and then told the manager that she would 'have your job"
That was a week ago.
Nothing happened yet with the manager's job, but didn't she handle it properly?

My 4 month old baby boy sleeps for 30 minutes at a time during the day and for only 2 hours at a time at night. I am at my wits end. He is b/f and we have just started him on solids. He won't go to sleep on his own. He needs to be held till he has nodded off and if we put him down too early, he wakes again. We have tried everything - self soothing, letting him cry for a while etc. Nothing works. Any advice would be a huge help.

Do you think it's a bad idea?
Of course, he would be properly bundled up, i.e. scarf, hat, gloves, turtleneck, winter coat.
He will also have a blanket wrapped around him, if necessary.
The forecast says it's supposed to be sunny and around 40-45 degrees.
The game is at 2:30 in the afternoon and should last about 2 hours.
Do you think this age is too young?

to have a period lasting 13 days? I still have my period and it's been 13 days of some heavy and moderate bleeding. Should I be concerned or is this normal? I haven't had a period for a little over a year and a half because of pregnancy and breastfeeding.

My 4 month old baby used to take 30 minutes or so to eat. Lately, he doesn't seem as interested in nursing, and will only spend 15 or 20 minutes nursing. I'm worried he will not get as much to eat. Is this normal?

PLEASE READ THIS FIRST:
1. I have a 10 week old who stays awake with colic from 7pm to 6am and she is in my arms during the entire crying spell with me walking (yes, I know this will pass).
2. I have a son who has been forced to be home schooled by the board of education. (long story). That takes about from 7am to 2pm.
3. I am a full time college student. 3pm to 5pm
4. Yes, I get LITTLE sleep, use to it now..lol
I just needs some tips on how to get housework done quickly when you have a fully loaded schedule? I am a clean freak :)

My daughter was formula fed until I finally started re lactating. Her weight has been "off the charts" and to the point where it was dangerous. I had SEVERAL people online (yahoo answers) tell me "a baby cannot over eat" so I listened and let her eat what she wanted. HOW stupid was I to listen to all these women on here, huh? (She was eating 9 ounces every 2 hours at a month old!!!) NOW she is being BF and eating the right amount and her weight is doing well. Then I was told by doctors that "some women are misinformed and that BF babies will not over eat but Formula fed babies most certainly can". Anyone else hear of that?

when I move her into the crib next to my bed she immediately wakes up and screams like crazy. I end up putting her back in the bed with me and she sleeps there also. I feel exhausted in the morning from being kicked by her all night long. How do I put her in her crib and make her stay asleep? It would be easier if she doesn't wake up when I move her into it. She will not fall asleep in her own bed and I do not like to let her cry because she will cry for 30 minutes non-stop. Help?

for me. She latches on and does well I just decided that I would rather formula feed her. I need some advice on how to do this. I gave her a bottle of formula a few hours ago and she did okay with it. Should i continue to give her formula in the bottle or switch from breast to bottle? I am so confused on what i should do. I know that i no longer want to breastfeed but i don't know how to go about giving her a bottle with formula now. She is three weeks old. What should I do????
