Do you think it's a bad idea?
Of course, he would be properly bundled up, i.e. scarf, hat, gloves, turtleneck, winter coat.
He will also have a blanket wrapped around him, if necessary.
The forecast says it's supposed to be sunny and around 40-45 degrees.
The game is at 2:30 in the afternoon and should last about 2 hours.
Do you think this age is too young?

BTW, i'm not worried about him getting bored - he loves sports. I just don't know if it will be too cold for him.

I think it would be perfectly fine. We took our nephew to a game when it was colder than that and he was the same age. He had a blast!! As long as he is dressed properly it should be just fine.

I think people are a little to jumpy about letting there children out of the house these days. Take proper the proper precautions and the fresh air should do him some good.

Also remember to sit on the bottom row so you dont have to worry falls the whole time!

Have Fun!!!

An 18 month old out doors for that amount of time is too long. Bundled up like that can cause the baby to sweat, cool off, and chill. Keeping an toddler wrapped in a blanket might sound easy, but at this age children have the need to move and explore. I recommend not taking the toddler to the game. This keeps all parties happy.

40-45 isn't to cold. But you need to factor in The wind chill. I honestly wouldn't do it, but mostly b/c I hate the cold. I say as long as you monitor the child and leave if it proves to be to much for him/her than go for it. But if you are unable to take him/her to a warm place (just in case) than don't do it 2hrs in an environment that is extreme could be to much.

good luck

No, he should be warm enough all bundled up. If it's going to be sunny and 40-45 it should be fairly warm. I think it would be okay, and he will probably even enjoy it. Buy him some hot cocoa while you're there!

ma bey try go in for the first half stay in the car for the 2 and then go out for the third it could make a change just taking by little steps see if the mood of your child is before the game if he is sleepy ma by stay at home because he will easily get woken up by the cheering if he is energetic try going for a little while

I am sure you can keep him warm. I think the issue is - can you keep him entertained? 2 hours is a long time to be in one place for a toddler.

I think it will be fine. I would take my son to one.
I find putting thin footed pajamas on under all the clothes is good for layering. You may want to put a little vaseline on his cheeks so they don't get chapped.
Have fun!

thats all you have to make sure of is the wind chill, and don't let him stay out their the entire time, i say 15 mins. each time and take a break. but if it were me (i have a 14 mnth old) i would find a babysitter.

If he's dressed warmly, he should be fine. If he starts getting cold, open your coat and snuggle him against your body with the blanket over him.

I think it's fine, as long as it's not too windy. Maybe bring one of those hand warmers to help keep him warm, and keep in mind he may not last the entire game.

Have fun!
