Is it because he is having it too fast? He gets them all the time, and they seem so uncomfortable for him.

who have silent reflux GERD babies? Did they have bottle problems? If so what did they do when trying to feed? My baby arches his back and screams and pushes his bottle away as well as many other symptoms. I live in australia and am unsure of any medications or treatments for it. I am seeing my doctor on monday.

My seven month old son eats 2 containers of Gerber baby food twice a day. He usually has about 24-36 ounces of formula a day and occasionally has 4 ounces of juice mixed with 4 ounces of water also. Everyone keeps saying he eats way too much but he always gobbles everything up. Is this normal for a baby his age?

My daughter is 3 months and 1 week old. She's always hungry about 2 - 3 hours after eating. I tried giving her water or diluted juice, or even pedialite to hold her over. It doesn't work.
I called her pediatrition and he recomended enfamil prosobee ar. Come to find out this doesn't exist. They don't make ar in the soy format and my daughter cant have milk based formula.
Friends and relitives have been suggesting adding cereal to her formula for over a month now. What do you all think i should do? Also how much to a 6oz bottle?

My 6 1/2 mo old daughter seems to cry alot. If I pick her up, she cries, if I put her down, she cries, if I give her a bottle, she cries, I rock her, she cries, if we go for a car ride, she cries, gave her a bath, she cries. Ive burped her. Ive given her teething tablets thinking that might help, given her a small dose of tylenol thinking shes in pain, tummy drops as well, and no not all at the same time. Im not a 1st time mom so please dont judge me there like on my last Q about her in her crib. The doctor doesnt see anything wrong with her. Shes not interested in playing. Could there be something seriously wrong with her that can't be seen just by looking at her? Im really worried. Shes just seems to be a very unhappy baby and I dont like seeing her this way. I love her so much and don't know what else to do. Should I consider a specialist or something? Shes cried herself to sleep yet wimpers in her sleep. What am I doing wrong? When shes upsept, my son, 22 mo gets upset too. Help?!

Babies born with Milk Soy Protein Intolerance (MSPI) cannot tolerate infant formula that contain milk, soy or a derivative and thus are forced to use expensive formula that most insurance companies refuse to cover, even though the formula is used as a prescribed treatment. Formula that MSPI babies take, e.g. Elecare, Vivonex can run anywhere from $35 - $50 per can. These cans last 3 days at the most. If you are lucky you can sometimes find cans for sale on Ebay. Some parents are forced to use credit cards or take out loans to cover the costs of the formula. When our son had MSPI the formula costs alone were over $4000.

I need to know if it is possible to lose weight when you are breastfeeding. I'm not speaking of losing pregnancy weight but 50 lbs that I have gained over a 5 year period.
I need to lose but I don't want to stop breastfeeding.

I have a 4 month old infant that I've been trying to feed infant cereal too. I'm not having much luck with this, she spits it all back out, she cries sometimes. Has anyone else had this problem?

Should I just be patient and stick with it? It's soooo frustrating!

We are thinking about getting the Graco Pack N Play Playard with bassinet. Our son weighs 13lbs and isan't even 2 months yet. He can't roll over yet. And we can't get a crib yet because we are moving to japan and need something that can go with us to visit family and then fly to japan. I know it says not for babies over 15lbs but has anybody used it when there baby weighed more than 15lbs?

I am 15 weeks pregnant and planning on breastfeeding my baby. The problem is my nipples are very sensitive and im worried about cracking and bleeding nipples. Is there any way I can start to toughen up the skin before the baby comes so that it's not such a hard adjustment? I have an Advent Isis breast pump if that helps?!

I'm trying to get my 2 month old on a schedule. I would like him to take 3 naps a day about 1 1/2 hours long each per the books I've been reading. I feel aweful waking him up from his naps and he's really unhappy about it, but should i wake him up? What's the best way to wake him up - changing his diaper? Will it cause him to eventually automatically wake up after 1 1/2 hours from his naps?
