I want a baby sling(not a front carrier) that is relatively easy to use, looks good, goes into different positions for newborns and older babies and that I can breastfeed with.
What do you recommend?

Okay. so my 3 month old daughter is in daycare (i know it sucks but I have to work for financial reasons) well everything has been going ok (there have been a few things that bothered me such as her clothes having spit up on them even though I pack a million bibs in her bag for them to use etc.) Last week my mom and grandmother came into town and watched her a couple of days. Well I took her back to daycare on Tuesday and her daycare teacher was pissed because she is off her schedule? She was complaining that she just wanted to be held all day and did not want to play and that all she wanted to do was take a few ounces, cat nap, wake up and take a few more ounces. Etc. Isn't that what babies do? Then she complained that she had a temper tantrum earlier in the day. I don't get it. Sounds to me like a normal baby? But this lady seemed really mad that my mom and grandma came and "spoiled" the baby. Is this weird? Does it sound like to you she can't handle a baby or what?

What are the pros and cons of using cloth diapers? We noticed little gel balls (that come from disposable diapers) on our baby boy when diapering him -- is this bad? Also, cloth diapers are more economical (in the long run) and environmentally friendly. Has anyone switched to cloth and gone back? Thanks!

My 4 months old son had his immunizations 2 days ago and last night he did not fall asleep at all untill 6 a.m.! But he did not seem to be in pain at all. He just wanted me to hold him and than when I put him back to bed, 5 minutes later he started making noises again, and again...untill the morning.
Have your kids ever done that?

PS. Please don't answer "ask your doctor", I just wanted to hear different opinions. Thank you!

My 2 1/2 yr old has always slept by himself. When I had my second who is 5 months old now, the plan was that eventually they will share a room as the spare room is used by my step children at the weekend. I have never been able to share a room with either of them as I just can't switch off. So the baby has been in his moses basket in the spare room during the week and he sleeps 12 hours solid, but at the weekend when he sleeps with us he must know he is not alone and spends all night bug9ering about crying for nothing! I have tried putting him in with my older son but he is not used to sleeping with someone else in the room and the pair of them spend all night crying because the other wakes them up. I dont know what to do, I feel bad for my older son but I have to do something as I go back to work next month and am gonna need a bit of sleep! Anyone got any suggestions, how I can get them to sleep together without waking eachother?

Is it important that I feed my baby cereal? I feed this to him once a day. He then eats 2 jars of either squash, peas, green beans, or sweet potatoes later on in the day. What nutritional value is in cereal that he will not get from the veggies?

I have a 10 (nearly 11 month old) - stuck with the weight and pooch - ugly flabby tummy i feel i look pregnant still. Breastfeeding didnt help i think i gained weight! I'm not whining, i dont think i worked to lose it, and am desperate to get rid of it and get a flat belly. Have you tried achieving this this long after baby? What helped? Please share. I hear how bad situps and crunches are according to julie Tuple (lose your mummy tummy) so so far just know the tupler breathing/contraction exercise. did that help if you did that?
Thanks
Right now I am trying to get in 15-20 min of activity a day, and eating healthy. nursing once a day. I dont want to do a crash diet to have it all come back.

My two month old has been sleeping great in her crib at night and then all of a sudden she is getting this stuffy nose every time she lays down in her crib. She is finer during the day but when night come and she has to lay on her back in the crib she has trouble breathing. I do not want her to get used to sleeping in her bouncer (that is what she has been doing the last two nights) and the humidifer just seems to make the room chilly. Any Suggestions? Thanks!

I see these lists everywhere and people ask if I have packed my bad yet, due in 4 weeks. What do I really need though?? List all the items you took with you. I am fine with hospital clothes but everyone says to bring pajamas but I never even purchased maternity pagamas. Thanks

Anyone ever have their baby go on a nursing strike? My 7 month little boy just absolutely refused to nurse for over 24 hours...He has always been a great nurser with no problems, so this was really weird. I was terified, he wouldn't take a bottle or sippy cup, either. He did take expressed milk from a spoon, and he ate his sweet potatoes, no problem, it was just like he suddenly refused to suck! I knew he wasn't weaning, so I read about nursing strikes. He's teething, and my lactation consultant thought that might be the issue. It was awful! I totally freaked out, meltdown city. Now he's nursing again, just like always. Anyone ever have this happen? How long did it last? I'd love to know - - thanks!
