My 6 1/2 mo old daughter seems to cry alot. If I pick her up, she cries, if I put her down, she cries, if I give her a bottle, she cries, I rock her, she cries, if we go for a car ride, she cries, gave her a bath, she cries. Ive burped her. Ive given her teething tablets thinking that might help, given her a small dose of tylenol thinking shes in pain, tummy drops as well, and no not all at the same time. Im not a 1st time mom so please dont judge me there like on my last Q about her in her crib. The doctor doesnt see anything wrong with her. Shes not interested in playing. Could there be something seriously wrong with her that can't be seen just by looking at her? Im really worried. Shes just seems to be a very unhappy baby and I dont like seeing her this way. I love her so much and don't know what else to do. Should I consider a specialist or something? Shes cried herself to sleep yet wimpers in her sleep. What am I doing wrong? When shes upsept, my son, 22 mo gets upset too. Help?!

I have a 2 year old son and he cried quite a bit when he was her age. If you have been to the doctor and he sees nothing wrong with her, it is most likely just a phase she is going through. As with my son, he eventually stopped crying all the time. If this keeps up for an extended period of time, she stops eating altogether, take her to a different doctor to get a second opinion.

I also think it is a way for your daughter to express the need for your undivided attention. You are a relatively new mother, and constant worries about your children are normal. Just watch for patterns and observe when she does not cry, whether it be when music is played, her brother interacts with her, or her dad holds her and stick to whatever method works.

Relax and try to enjoy this period of your life, once it is past you cant get it back again.

While losing a parent at a young age is traumatic. I lost my dad at 16; I firmly believe that MJ's "daughter" was staged. It was more the behavior of Janet and the importance of the position of the microphone that made the whole thing seem forced and contrived. Her statement was a justification that no one was protesting. Regardless, it was brave of her to act.. er. speak. I think that MJ "the brand" is dead. We will never see him perform again or make appearances as MJ; but there is a great possibility that he is still alive and this was merely an attempt to end his career without any further responsibility. MJ and his estate stand to make more from him dead than alive. MJ's career has been plagued with controversy, speculation, and bizarre behavior. This is just the final stunt in a long line of attempts at salvation and redemption. Michael Jackson the character is dead but the man who signs his name is very much alive. There is little to prove it one way or another. The casket could have been real... it could have been empty. I find it very hard to believe the media that thrives on the impact rather than the story. All news you read, watch, or listen to is produced propaganda made to make you want more. It is a well choreographed stunt. The media could very well be fooled themselves which would justify the exhausting coverage. Farah Faucett's fame pales in compression to MJ's but we all know that she died. She had a terminal illness and lost the battle. There is no glamor or drama there. To believe what you see is to see what you believe. MJ lived a very publicly tormented life and hopefully now he can rest; alive or dead.

Does your baby start crying about 15 minutes to 45 minutes after eating?

Did you try to breastfeed her and you couldn't do it?

She might have acid reflux. Tummy drops don't work on babies.
Medicine in general (with the exception of tylenol )doesn't work well with babies.

Keep her sitting up on your knee for at least 45 minutes after feeding her. Put a tablespoon of gerber rice cereal in every 2oz of prepared formula you give her.

Put her bed up at an angle so she isn't laying flat on her back.

Use a bouncer seat up at an angle. Use a bouncer that vibrates. Get a mattress pad that vibrates. Babies love that, especially reflux babies.

Babies that age don't really play much, so don't worry too much about that.

She might be teething. Try some baby orajel on her gums. Or the baby could be lactose intolerant. Try soy formula and see if that works, but check with your doctor first!
