My son is a very active baby since he was 1 month old He loves his Jumperoo and doesn't really like a swing cause he just sits there. Anyone else out there have a very active baby around this age or did?

I expected that the first thing we would see is the top of the teeth when they punctured her gums. In our case, nothing has punctured the skin on her gums but we literally can see (presumably the front of) what appears to be her lower, front two teeth - through a thin layer of skin.

I am a stay at home mom and I have had a bad cold for about 3 days now(sore throat, cough, runny nose). Today my 4 month old woke up with a running nose, I am sure she has caught my cold. Is there anything I can do for her. Do I need to call the doctor or wait it out? Thanks

I'm 4 months pregnant with my first baby and I've only had experience from babysitting (as young as 8 weeks) and I've been around plenty of newborns, but it's very hard to imagine myself caring for my brand new baby. I KNOW I will and WANT to, but is it hard?

Just wondering, what do you find is the best way to clean those soft cloth baby toys that have crinkles or noise makers inside, so you can't put them in the washing machine?

My eight month old used to drink 7oz four times a day.
Lately its been extremly difficult to maker her drink 5-6 oz 3 times.
She even does not seem to eat more solids just 2 small jars ( gerber veggies and fruits ) a day and some baby cereal once in the morning.
Is she being underfed and what more food can I introduce at this stage.
Thanks

My baby is quite sick with a cold...a lot of nasal congestion and now some coughing, bit of a fever too. The Advil package says for babies 0-3 months to consult a physician but it is Boxing Day and there are no physicians available. Can I give the baby advil? Let me know what you think please.

My baby was 3 weeks old last sunday, he eats every 1-3 hours and when he is finished he falls asleep most of the time. My biggest concern is his weight gain. Dr says thats it's slow and i should take him in once a week to make sure he is still gaining good. i really dont want to suppliment with formula if i dont have too.
I am pumping after each feeding to make sure my breasts are empty. he lost 10oz in the hospital and was only back up to birth weight last friday's check up.

As soon as he swallows the formla and breast milk comes right back up! Its like a waterfall of formula after every feeding! Im sick of having to wash his clothes every other day, wiping up puck off the couch, the carpet and him!

My baby is 6mo. He is badly constipated, it is continuing for a month. He always cries and he gets anal fissure. I sometimes use glycerin supposotories, I wonder how many times per week is considered too much, or how long (month or 2?) is too long? Can I use 10 days in a row so that his stool will be softer and he will not hold back?

Alex,Dale,Cameron,Brooke,Chris... or anymore…
Some people said: Cameron mean crooked nose,NOT very good…

How about alex? But in the film, alex is male.It will create association of ideas for boy name?
Dale are unisex name ,but “www.babynamesworld.com” personally don't think this name is unisex…

Mine went like this: The midwife was examining me I was on the table about to deliver, and she said that I was way too tiny and how was the baby going to pass through, it was already too late for a C-section, so she had me get on all fours, and that still didn't look right. I finally ended up on my side with my husband (ex) holding my leg up in the air.

I am really asking out of pure curiosity so please don't be offended out there. But why do people ask you if you're breastfeeding or not?

Now, I can see expectant mothers, or basically, any mother asking out of curiosity, but I've had my male boss ask me in front of coworkers if I was, along with people who don't plan on having children, AND complete strangers. Why would someone need this information about how I nurish my child? Isn't it kinda personal?

Some women formula feed out of choice or necessity, and shouldn't that just be respected?
