Mine went like this: The midwife was examining me I was on the table about to deliver, and she said that I was way too tiny and how was the baby going to pass through, it was already too late for a C-section, so she had me get on all fours, and that still didn't look right. I finally ended up on my side with my husband (ex) holding my leg up in the air.

You're story is kind of like mine. I was in every position they could get me in. My son dropped at the end of Aug. and there was no movement from him, so I had an ultrasound and they 'woke' him up, when he kicked me they figured everything was alright. Well, to sum it up, he ended up being two weeks overdue at the END of Sept. and so I was induced. They then found out when he dropped in Aug, he was ready to come out...but he couldn't because he was stuck. But he's healthy and that is all that matters :-)

I was woke up one moring feeling bad, thought i might be having contractions and went to the doc. He sent me to the hospital bc i was indeed having contractions. I got there and was 1 cm and having really good contractions on the moniter. Well, about 35 hours later I was STILL 1cm, they couldnt break my water, pitosin and the pill they put in you didnt work, couldnt have an epidural, they wouldnt give me any pain meds bc they said it might slow my progress. I dont know what progress they were referring to since i had been 1 cm forever! They told me I was having good contractions, they even told me that i was having the same contractions that most women have when they are 9 cm or pushing! But my cervix refused to cooperate so i had a c section. I hated labor and it was kinda funny bc i was one of those people that would say, :"I dont need lamaz or anything. I am just going to go and get my epidural and not feel any of it." I guess I got what i deserve! lol The baby and I turned out fine with no complications and I went home two days later.

I went into labor at 33 weeks (they stopped the labor) and then again at 35 weeks but they couldn't stop it so my son was born by a c-section due to him being breech and me having pre-eclampsia. Both of these times i was flown out (via helicopter) to the university hospital in my state.
My son was born healthy and he got out the same day i did.
He is now 5 years old and in kindergarten. He is my only child.
