she got into a sharpy marker and it is all over her chin. she is only 2 years old

Soap, warm water, and a washcloth. I've been there, done that. Just try to get it off as soon as possible. If it's a stubborn stain, put her in the tub and wash the area a few times.

By the way, if she ever gets Sharpie on things like the toilet, floor, cabinets, ect... use fingernail polish remover, it will come right off.

Rubbing alcohol will remove permanent marker, but it takes time and a lot of scrubbing. Just use some cotton balls or make up remover squares and soak with alcohol; rub the marker until it is gone. Make sure you keep the alcohol away from her mouth.

You're in big trouble when your mom gets home...ha ha. You can use the magic erasure. It gets everything off. (I wouldn't use it on reguar basis, but for emergencies or hard to get off stains on the skin it works great) I used it hwhen I did an uneven fake tan job.
