My three month old will be extremely happy most of the day, but then out of nowhere he will just scream and won't stop when comforted. Then afterwards he just goes back to the way he was. He has no fever or diarrhea or cold. Please help.

My son is on breathing treatments and they dont seem to work?
I was just wondering if any other kids have had this same problem. He has been on breathing treatments for a couple of months and never seem to work. He has gotten 2 chest xrays and they both are fine. But the doctors are always worried with how he sounds. Is there anything else that can be done? Do i just have to hear him at night always coughing (which is new). It is a really bad cough and it sounds like it is hard for him to even get it out. I hate to see him like this. Should i be concerned that the treatments are working? I should mention..he is only 5 months old..and has been diagnosed with bronciolitis in the past..when he was about 2 months old..seems to me that he never got over it...also no one in the house smokes..and he has been on the nebulizer treatments 3 times a day

I like the name Zebediah Apollo and want to use it. I will call him Zeb, though. I just want feedback on this name. Family members think it's too much for a newborn. What do you think?

I have a 3 week old and I express my milk to feed the baby and I am worried I am not getting enough milk. I get a total of 3 oz. from both breasts and I pump every 2 hours. Is this normal? Will my supply increase ? I am worried as I want to feed my baby breastmilk.

Last year, I nursed my baby while I was taking PaxilCR. No matter what herbals I used, how often I nursed/pumped, or how many lactation consultants I spoke with, I never produced enough milk. My son was very underweight, so I supplemented with formula whenever I absolutly had to, but I tried only giving breastmilk for 3-5 days, unless he began to lose weight. Well, I am in the process of weaning off paxil, and if all goes well, we plan to conceive again in 2007. I would really love to breastfeed again, but the constant weight checks, and the feeling that something is wrong with me,is not something I choose to do again. Has anyone here taken Paxil, or a similar drug, and could not produce enough breastmilk? Any suggestions? I have read about taking metroclopimide (Reglan), to increase supply, but the side effects of depression are too scary for me. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Hi.
I have a 9 month old son and my health visitor has advised me to wean him of the bottles. hes already having solids.
He can drink pop out of one, but it is very hard for him to drink it as it comes out to quick, so i think it would be hard for him to take his milk out of one.
Is there any specific age they have to be off bottles by? and what are the best cups? he has a tommy tippie one at the mo for ages 6m+.
Thanks.

I d like to know if its safe to travel for a long journey with a 2-moths old babygirl. How about air pressure changes? Is there anything I have to be warned about?
The journey d involve about 9 hours flight: 6 hours, half a day break and then another 3 hours.
Thanks a lot for the answers, I really appreciate it as am totally freaked out.

Is it possible my baby sleeps too much? For example, last night she went to bed at 10:30. She woke up at 8:30 for a feeding and at 9:300 she was napping until 2:30. At 4:00 she was napping again until 6:00. She naps in her swing (which I'm trying now to have her nap in her crib), but when the time comes for us to try to get her to fall asleep (either by rocking or laying her down in our bed) she won't stop crying. I'm sure if we'd put her in her swing she would be fine. Could it be she slept too much during the day or that she wants her swing? She sleeps well at night without waking up, so I'm just wondering.
