I have a six month old son who has been having green runny bowel movements for the last 3 days. He saw the doctor yesterday and she seemed to think he was ok. She said it may be a touch of a stomach virus, but I thought that he would act sick if he had a virus. He acts like he's fine and he doesn't act sick at all. He doesn't give me any impression that he is not feeling well and his temp is normal. He's eating fine and he has plenty of wet diapers, but he has 2-3 very runny bowel movements a day. I've heard teething can do that, but that jsut doesn't click in my mind as to why it would do that. Does anyone know why he is doing this and what I can do to help it stop?

My daughter who is 2 months old just got her vaccine shots like a week ago, they told me to massage her legs so she wont get any knots. I massaged her legs but she still got one knot on her right leg. How should I try to get it out?? Should I massage in a circular motion or rubbing down towards the foot?? My Husband's uncle told me to ice it...but I don't know about that... any suggestions??

Should my 10 week old daughter be eating 8oz of formula at a time?? Isn't it kind of early for this??

She sleeps all night without waking up, and when she is awake, she wants to eat every 1½ hours to 2 hours. Not all of the feedings are 8oz, but some of them are.

for history we have to write about problems in this world and my friend is doing abortion. She is totally against it, but i don't really see anything that wrong with it. If a women gets pregnant by sleeping around or gets raped and gets pregnant than she should have a right to have an abortion. I think it's better than putting your baby up for adoption and putting it in foster care where they get child abused and social workers don't even try to have the kid put in a good home. I think than an abortion is neccessary right?

I have a professor who is adopting a one year old daughter over the weekend. My clinical group is going to throw her an "end of the clinical" lunch out. Once we found this out, we have decided to have a Surprise Baby Shower. We do not know what to get someone who is unable to concieve, and has not been able to experience the joys of being preggers, and having a newborn. We can not get normal baby shower things such as baby clothes and bottles..etc. What do you get someone who you want to be able to get as close to a normal shower as possible? The girl is one, and we have no clue on her size, so we opted out of clothes!"

Our four month old baby, who is breastfed, is so gassy and it stinks so bad! We give her Mylicon (gas drops for infants) I don't drink milk, or eat eggs, drink anything with caffiene, spicy foods, cabbage, lettuce, broccoli, peanut butter, or beans because they can make your infant gassy. What else can we do, I plan on talking to her ped iatrician next week about it because she gets fussy from it and you can actually feel her stomach gurgling. Help, it stinks so bad!!!

You know Tupperware that is like an accordian and they fold down to save space? Do they make bottles like this? We travel a bit, and it would save a lot of luggage space to pack a couple of those bottles instead of our daughter's regular bottles. If they have it, can you let me know where to buy them? If not, you're free to take my idea and run with it.
