There are too many babaies in this world that are not cared for or in an adoption agency. I think it is better to have an abortion if you truly are not capable of taking care of the baby and you know it. It is not fair to bring a child into this world, know that you are not ready or incapable of taking care of it. At least when you think about having an abortion, you are admitting your not ready. It is not for everybody, but it is for some. It is a hard thing to do, but by all means it should be an option.

I agree with you however, some women just keep getting pregnant and having abortions like it's a birth control. Some women do not realize the damage that abortions can do to they body's ..
You are right about giving your child up for adoption because these case workers do not care about the children. They will place a child anywhere..

You have a point about sleeping around and getting raped but you are missing ONE VERY IMPORTANT DETAIL. That is that the baby is still half yours. The baby is growing inside you and even though that it was wrong for however you got pregnant, don't make it wrong to not give YOUR baby a chance and live and love you with all it's little heart. Babies are little bundles of joy. They make you smile, they make you cry, and they even make you mad.....but that's just called paretning and no one should take those little momments away with a needle and drugs. It is murder and I am totally against it. Because infact, I was raped last November, 2005. I found out 2 weeks after it happened that I was pregnant. I went in to get an examination and they told me I was pregnant, 2 weeks. And that is how I knew that my baby was made from a horrible experience but the keywords in my statement was......MY BABY! Now, I have a 4 month old little girl and I am single. I was seeing a guy at the time and he knows that Shyloh isn't his real baby, but he helps me out alot, even though he is about 3 months from getting married. So just remember that little one's choose their mommies and daddies and that if you get an abortion, you are killing your own baby!!!

i think abortion is WRONG... it's taking someone's life away.. an innocent baby... you hold a brand new baby in your arms and look in it's sweet little eyes and then decide if abortion is okay or not. see the thing is, unless it's a very special case such as rape or the mother's life is in danger, that baby has EVERY SINGLE RIGHT to life. i say that if a woman sleeps around she made the decision and has to accept the consequenses. they might say "it's my body and my life" but it's that baby's body and life too, and that baby did NOTHING the woman did it by choosing to have sex and that was where the decision was made, it starts there, not when she's pregnant and is like "okay i think i'll just kill this thing so i can live my life the way i want to"... that is so selfish and compleatly wrong. abortion is NOT about women's rights, it's about saving a life or destroying it. she already made the stupid decision.. people were made to have sex to CREATE LIFE and to draw closer to their lover, not to just go out and have a good old time whenever they want. it's a sacred thing and if they abuse it they have to accept the consequenses. i'm sorry, but i think women who justifies an abortion by saying it's her life, body, choice, is doing something horribly wrong. abortion is murder, whether we like to admit it or not, and one of the most selfish things humans can do. if the baby is unwanted or it's not a good home for it it deserves to be given up for adoption for the chance at a good life.
thank you, that is all.

One point your friend may put into her report is that the countries where the populations are out of control are countries where the women are oppressed and have little to no rights.
I do not believe in abortion as birth control. I believe abortion is a medical issue not a legal one. If men got pregnant abortion wouldn't even be an issue!

I agree. I fell pregnant when i was 18 and i was the poster girl for anti-abortion, that is, until it happened to me..
I had a boyfriend of about 3 mths (which is now 3 and a bit yrs), no where stable to live and no money or job. My choice was for the baby, there is no was i was stable enough to raise a child and i didn't want my baby growing up without a dad and with a mum with no money. It was the hardest thing i have EVER had to do but at the time, the only option for me. No one should ever tell you what to do in such circustances and certainly NOT make you feel bad for it. I don't agree with women using it as contraception (i know a girl who does and has), but at certain times women should be able to make that choice if it is the best one for the baby and themselves at the time. My boyfriend was VERY supportive through the ordeal and we are stronger than ever, we are now stable with great jobs, a house and are ready to have a family knowing that we can give our child-ren the BEST chance in life. To those people that carry on about brain sucking and scull crushing - that's your opinion, a sick one, but an opinion. I had the exact same feelings until it happened to me - and i was using contraception!!. Don't judge others because it might just happen to you one day.

i am against abortion except in cases of rape, incest, or the mother's health.
i beleive if it's nothing like that ^ and you just got pregnant by accident and don't want the child, adoption is the best option. why kill a child that someone else would gladly take? there are so many happy couples out there that can't get pregnant and would do anything for a child.

I would focus on the fact that in the United States no person is forced to have an abortion.
I would then focus on the law shown through out History. I would show that prior to our law in the U.S. other people based their law on the Bible and other ethical instruments. I would point out that no where in the Bible is there anything that is opposed to abortion. I would then outline the fact that abortion was legal until some faction of the population gained control and outlawed abortion. I would state that the outlawing of abortion was not successful and that over time it was found to lead to the deaths of many poor and middle class women. I would mention Roe V Wade that made abortion a constitutional right. I would mention that the deaths of women declined. I would draw out the problems with abortion both pre and post wade. I would show that those wishing to be anti abortion are similar to the same group that outlawed abortion years ago. I would make it clear that that group has no foundation upon which to base their belief that abortion is wrong. Check my link to read a complete refutation of the pro life agenda. Us it if you wish.

No. There are plenty of babies who are adopted and lead wondeful lives. The same goes for foster care, there are many wondeful foster parents and there are plenty of biological parents who are abusive. There are a lot of wonderful caring people who can't have their own baby and would be more then happy to adopt an unwanted baby.
