The doc told me to use saline drops and a bulb syringe. It's *sort of* working. Can any experienced moms or dads give me any other suggestions or tips? I hate to watch her sniffle. She's 6 weeks old, by the way.

Thanks for your answers,
Mandy

Ok, so we are having Twins and even though we originally said we were not going to find out the sexes, we did. We are having a boy and a girl. We have decided on Hannah Grace as a girls name but are having trouble coming up with a boys name that we both like and that goes well with Hannah. The father's name is Timothy Jon. Please help!!

My son was born 4 months premature. He is 6 months old. He stayed in the nicu for 3 months. Considering his condition, it was a smooth transition for him. He only had problems associated with his very premature birth. Since about two months, he has this projective vomit thing going on after every feeding. I have taken him to the doctor several times, but all they tell me is that its normal and babies spit up.

I know babies spit up, but its so much more than that. I know its not normal at all and I can tell that he is in pain. But all the doctors tell me that he is gaining weight and there is nothing to worry about. They wont look at him, or nothing. Let me add in that we are on tricare and i cant pick and choose who I want. They wont even let me talk. Before I even finish my sentence they burst in with "oh thats normal". But i know that its not.

I have tried all different formulas but its the same result.

i started weaning him at 5 and half months coz he was needing somthing more. but now im a bit confused as to how much he needs to drink. i know his milk should still be the main part of his diet, but for how long? im feeding him solids 3 times a day with a bottle of 8 ounces. he has a bottle of 8 ounces five times a day. is this too much? he does drink water aswell.

Sometimes my baby's pee or poo would leak out from the sides or below and I'm wondering if I'm using the diaper the right way, which is opening it, wrapping it around her bottom and closing it. My mum says that when i open the diaper, I should make sure the frills are wide open too. Is that right?? I've tried it but the results are no different

How do we get it? I mean, in our milk ducts? Are nipples? I know how and where an infant gets it in the mouth, but where does it settle in on us, in our breast?

I have a bassinet I bought from a thrift shop. I had never seen one like it before. It is oversized and has collapsable legs. If you lift the matress it has a logo that read "Quality RedMan Baskets". I searched the internet for it but had no luck finding anything on it. If anyone knows anything about these bassinets please send me some info. I would appreciate it.

My son will be 8 months old next week. At 6 months old, our pediatrician said we can start giving our son baby food, finger foods and mashed potatos. One day I gave him a zwieback toast and just the feel of it made him gag. He dropped it like it was on fire. He can't touch anything that has a course texture without gaging. Anything he puts to his mouth, he gags and then vomits... He can only touch things that are smooth and soft. I've been feeding him 9 oz of formula by a bottle with 4 tablespoons of rice cereal since he's been 3 weeks old. He suffered from severe acid reflux when he was an infant. Recently he has been taken off all medication for his reflux. He does very well on stage 2 baby food only... Is this something that he will grow out of? Do I need to call the doctor about this? Please, share your stories and advice with us... Thank you for you answers and sorry this is so long...
