Pampers are great. they are so thin yet hold so much. I've used them since my little boy was born (2003) And i now use them for my twin girls, They can be expensive i spend around £25 a week on pampers for the girls, but they are comfortable they don't leek and my children and their bums are worth every penny!

My son didn't do to well with this brand of diaper. He tried the Swaddlers and the Baby Dry and both didn't work. I'm planning on giving the Cruisers a try, because of all the great things that I have heard about them. I also have read that Pampers are better for girls and Huggies are better for boys. Like one of the earier posts said Huggies really makes the best wipes. I also found that the Target Brand wipes are just like the Huggies wipes, but cheaper. Be careful, because they also make a different wipe that are like the Pamper's wipes. If you look on the box it will tell you which ones they are.

We've found that Pampers knows diapers! We prefer Cruisers over BabyDry too. The absorbency, feel, tabs and fit of the diapers is better. (Although I think BabyDry has recently improved... we got one in the mail and it seemed softer.)

Huggies have always seemed to leak and the suggested weights have been WAY off for our little gal... with Huggies we've got to stop using them 5 lbs before they say. I had to sell 3 cases of Huggies that we'd stocked up on to a friend who had a baby after us. (We would've had PLENTY of time to use them if the weights had been right!!)

Huggies makes up for it with their wipes though! Pampers wipes are TERRIBLE. They're slippery and too small and the poop won't stick to them at all when you try to wipe off the bum-bum. It takes me twice as many wipes at every diaper change with Pampers Wipes. (Very often FOUR for a poop, which I'm sure is what Pampers wanted when they made them!!)

The points system from Pampers is kind of nice too. Sure the diapers cost more, but if they work and you can accumulate points towards a little toy for something that you have to buy anyway that's a good little bonus. (Still not enough to make me use their wipes though!!)

We haven't bothered with Kirkland or Wal-Mart or Superstore brands of diapers or wipes because... well... don't fix what ain't broke. We've found one that works and we're staying with it until it doesn't.

I figure if they didn't work then the money we'd save on cheap diapers would be used up in the soap time and effort of trying to get stains out of her clothes.

Plus it's embarassing when you're out and your baby is dressed all nicely when a poop explosion hits and then you have to put them in the "diaper bag emergency back-up clothes."

i have a little girl. i used real nappies a lot with her, but i also used pampers. they really were the best for absorbency. We never once had a nappy leakage problem with them like we did with the other brands. I did use the nature baby biodegradable ones a lot too, and felt environmentally better about less landfill, but they were not as good as the pampers. the one thing about pampers that concerned me was that sometimes when taking off the nappy there were little gel dots on her bottom. i dont know what they were but they did concern me enough to use the real nappies more.
at home nappies came off a lot to expose her skin to more air. when really small i would put her on a nappy changing mat (i think pampers brand) to catch wee if she did one whilst being a naturalist! hope that helps...

that's all my baby wears... the pamper swadlers were great- soft, stretchy, etc.... worked very well. Now we use the pampers cruisers. We tried some others- and some generic ones too, but he leaked a lot with those. pampers are great!

I actually prefer Huggies over Pampers but either will do. I've found with my son that they breath better and hence less diaper rash than when I've used other brands, such as Luvs. I also like the elastic waste. Their little tummies distend and retract so much that the diapers with the elastic waists seem to keep stuff where it's suppose to be... in the diaper!

I like the way Pampers are. I would rather my daughter wear pampers than any other brand.

Pampers Swaddlers/Cruisers line is better than their Baby Dry line.
Good features:
soft, clothlike covering
soft, inside fabric that feels like it has a little lotion on it
stretchy tabs
highly absorbant
when wet the surface that touches the skin feels dry
I never had a single leak with them

my son wore pampers until he was 2yrs, but still wore them to bed until aged 4 he has never had a problem with them.
my daughter had pampers from the start, but when they brought the flexi fit nappy out i tried her on them, they made her very sore, she leaked through them after an hour, so went to change back to pampers active fit but couldnt find them anywhere only the flexi, so i had no choice but to try different brands which my daughter didn`t like, went onto the pampers web site and asked if they still done the active fit only , said my daughter didn`t like the flexi Nappy's and the problems she had with them. i can gladly say she is now back in active fit and is much much better.

My first baby, I used pamper for the first couple months. I thought it was the best for my baby...then I found out Kroger's diapers are just as good... and a lot cheaper!
