I posted a question here about 7 months ago asking for opinions on baby names for my third child. Now, I need to know what are good nicknames to call our third AND fourth children (we had twins!) Our eldest is Christopher Elijah, goes by CJ, next is Anastasia Elizabeth, goes by Ana or Biz, and our newest additions are Taeryn Eileen and Kayleigh Emerald.. I hate to call them common nicknames and was wondering what others would think might be cute or easier names to call them at least until they are old enough to show preference for a specific nickname. Also, does anyone have any cute pair outfit ideas for twin babies for halloween? They'll be two weeks old by then and I'd like them to be something cute for the first few years.. Thanks

My son is going to be 4 weeks. I'm breastfeeding and give formula once a day. He's a huge baby...already past 11 lbs. He eats constantly! All the doctors say not to put anything in the formula/breastmilk, but a lot of people tell me it makes them sleep longer. Is it ok or not ok to put cereal in? How does it effect them growth wise? Is it ok for them to sleep longer, when the doctors tell me to wake him every three-four hours for feedings? Thanks for all the input. As you can probably tell I'm a new mother :)

My son is allergic to milk soy and recently he has been reacting to his rice milk. Does anyone have any suggestions on what he can drink? He is 18 months old so I'd rather avoid going back to formula especially since he drank Similac's Alimentum which is quite expensive. I'd also love suggestions of food for him to eat or websites with ideas. Basically any input would be appreciated! :)

I had repeated c-section on Sep.10, I was bleeding/spotting for about two weeks then stopped. Last week it started again, I called my doctor and he told me it's propably my first period (even when I am exlusively breastfeeding my baby?!) and it should stop within few days. It did stop tuesday. Thursday the area around my scar got swollen again, I called again they told me if the actual scar is ok theres nothing wrong and just take it easy. Yesterday I started bleeding again (looks like period, bot c'mon - twice in a week??). Dont tell me to call my doc, of course I WILL, but it's sunday people, so tommorrow. In the meantime - I was wondering - anybody has any experiences like this? What could it be? (My first c-section the bleeding was over after a week and that was it. It was 3 yrs ago by the way). Thanks for any insight, I'm little freak out....

My son frequently falls asleep during breastfeeding, which means that it often takes as long as an hour for him to get full. That doesn't leave much time for Mom to get sleep, given that our pediatrician wants the feedings to occur every 2 to 2.5 hours.

So, is a full hour of feeding necessary, or does the baby get much of the benefit from the feeding in a shorter time?

Are there any side effects? What is a good brand, and does the pill make you fat? Would it get to my baby?

Thanks so much for helping.

My lo is not gaining as fast as the health visitor would like. She is using the red book as a guide, although this is based on bottle fed babies, and I've read that it is normal and healthier for breast fed babies to put on weight more slowly. Has anyone had a similar experience?

My son is nearly five months old. When my eldest son (now 5) was a baby the recommendation was starting them at 4 months, my middle child (now 3) it was 4 - 6 months, and now with my youngest they are saying 6 months. He seems happy, but has started waking around 4 - 5am for a feed. People have suggested starting him on solids to help him start sleeping through again, but my last child started at 5 months and had terrible allergies. Am i just being paranoid or is my wanting to wait justified?

I had my little girl on AUg.4th by c-section and I am stil bleeding I had the depo shot when I was released out of the hospital and I was thinknig that might be the cause but its been 2 1/2 months and I am bleeding horribly Atleast a super PLUS tampon ever 2-3 hours... Is this normal I go to a Army hospital sicne my husband is in the Marine Corps and my doc has never checked me they just keep saying it is normal from the deop but I still think something might be wrong since I am bleeding this much.. I havent stopped bleeding 1 bit since I had her it has just gotten worse heavier and darker blood. (Sorry a little TMI) SHouls they check me for something or anything? Or is this normal withthe depo shot? Has anyone else bled this bad after having a c-sectino or a vaginal delivery?? Just wondering and curious since my doctors never seem to check they just say its normal... Thanks
