Try using glycerin suppositories. You can get them at any drug store Limit the amount of foods like cheese, bananas. I had to eliminate bananas from my daughters diet when she was that age because they constipated her so badly.
Good Luck!

in view that your infant is in simple terms 2 weeks previous, I wouldnt provide infant something yet formulation or breastmilk devoid of the docs suggestion. Take infant to the well being care expert or call your well being care expert and ask in case you aspects prune juice, and if so how lots and at what potential. you additionally can attempt bicycle pedalling your little ones legs. this helps pass the poo out. And gently stretch them up in direction of the chest. you additionally can use a heat damp fabric and rub it gently around the anus. this might stimulate the infant to commence pushing. EDIT: are you constructive infant is constipated? little ones this youthful can pass some days devoid of bowel circulate. Breastfeed little ones can pass up a week devoid of bowel circulate or on a similar time as long as 10 days.

i know this isn't the healthiest way, but it worked real well and quick for my eldest child when he was 11/2 yrs old. fix him a cup of coffee with milk and a little sugar, and feed him 1/2 a chocolate bar. that should work. if there is a difference, but not quite working, then give him the rest of the chocolate bar. he may be a little energeitc for a while, but it is worth it to see him relieved and happy. if you try this, i hope it works. we did this while traveling across the country, and had fast results and a happy little boy!

I'm a grand mother. Karo syrup always works. The little ones like it too. Never use a suppository without the pediatrcian's instructions to do that...too many of those will cause a dependency on them to cause bowels to move. Good luck.

I had a similar problem with my daughter. My doctor told me to put a little Karo corn syrup into some water, warm it up, and have her drink that. She also said I could use warm apple cider, which I did, but that didn't work. Good luck.

One thing I often did when my kids were little babies, was lay them across my lap and firmly but gently pat their diapered bottoms for 5-10 minutes. I did this when they were gassy and it always helped along the process of making them go.
My kids were always quite happy to lay there and have it done. I think it's soothing for a baby.

There is a product called Babylax. Get it and try it. It works immediately. It is a little bulb, that kind of looks like a syringe. It has some kind of medicine in it. You put the syringe in his little bum and squirt the meds in. Be careful, though, because it can get messy.

I agree with Jessy P also. Peaches and grapes make my son go, and that way, I don't have to try to wrestle a kid to put a suppository in.
