I'm looking for something that is fun, baby-friendly (1 year old) - that isn't theme park oriented. Anywhere in the world is fine..... any suggestions?

My 6-month old likes to sleep face down and it really scares me. I was wondering if there are any precautions I should take. I am wanting her to sleep in her crib, but I am unsure if this is safe since she tends to roll over and sleep on her tummy with her face down.

My son is seven months old and eats four meals (two are oatmeal, on stage three food, and a vegtable--he hates fruit) a day, one to two 6oz bottles, and a sippy cup with apple juice. He is a very active and tall twenty-one pound baby. I'm not too sure if this is normal or not. I know every baby is diffrent but I guess I just wanted to see what others say. What were/are your kids eating at this age? Is this normal? My pediatrition doesn't have a problem but what do you think?

We have a 3 month old son and both work together and commute to work. We drop him off there at 7am and pick him up at 6pm. This is so hard for me to do because I was home with him until 1 week ago I miss him soo much. How many other families have to leave their babies for such a long period of time?

I have a 8 week old and she is allergic to most of the formulas we've tried. Milk will still come out of my breasts if I sqeeze them. I've tried to put her to the breast and she'll take it but not for long. How can I make more milk come out so I can pump, since she is used to the bottle?

What is a fair share of time for him to be taking over helping with the baby each night? I don't want to overload him after his long day, but my days are long too. What are some opinions on this or any people who have gone through or are going through the same situation.

My son is seven months old, he's an okay crawler...he's still getting used to it though! We live in a house with lenolium floors all through the house. We have four area rugs through the house but he only has to crawl a little ways before he's at the end of the rug. I want him to be able to crawl but I don't kno what to do...should I let him crawl on the lenolium...the carpet (which he licks)...or what? We cannot move because we live on a military base and he no longer fits in his pack n play. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank You!

I was needing some ideas on ways to work exercise into my busy schedule. I need to include my 8 month old, since it's just him and me in the evenings. (Dad works late.) We walk at the park, but with cooler weather coming, I'm running out of options. Any ideas?

I plan to breastfeed and was wondering if you can take birth control pills after having baby and also when do you get your period. I have heard that you bleed pretty bad after birth but is this your normal period starting back??

Won't baby take all the milk? It would be nice to pump every so often to let husband feed baby & also for when going out in public. How do you squeeze pumping into baby's feeding schedule?
Also when should you introduce the breast milk in the bottle so baby won't get "nipple confusion"??

My 4 month old baby will fall asleep easily in my arms, either by rocking or nursing. I then wait about 10-20 minutes to make sure he is in a deep sleep. However, when I try to put him down in his crib or on my bed he instantly wakes up and starts screaming. If I pick him up, he is fine again and falls asleep. How can I help him stay asleep when I put him down? It is difficult to get things done with him in my arms all the time.

ps. this is for daytime naps only. in the night, he sleeps next to me fine all night long, with a few feedings as needed.

i mean...i know what, just how much of what? he doesn't seem to want to eat, really. maybe it's just because he's so interested in things he gets distracted. he's certainly not underweight but it seems like he used to eat more. anyway, what's normal for this age?

My son is 7 1/2 weeks old. I just changed his diaper and there was a green snotty thing there instead of his normal yellow/brown loose poop. It was just one glob. He's breastfed and up until that diaper, he has had "normal" poop. He seems to be acting normal, do you suppose he's sick? TIA for any ideas.

my baby gets the hiccups after every meal along vomiting he is 11 days old then he always makes faces as if he is gagging and sometimes he vomits while doing this. He currently is on similac advanced formula and I bought the kind that has lower iron because the regular kind seems too rich for him I took him to the pediatrician and he said that the baby is healthy I am very concerned about the excessive hiccups if there is anyone out there who's baby experiences the same problem please let me know what you did to handle it or what was wrong with the baby?
