When you make the bottle, after you add the formula and put nipple on, I squeeze all the air out by pushing up on the liner until you can see that the formula is all the way up inside the nipple. Then I shake it to mix it all up. If you do this, the liner should collapse as the baby sucks on the bottle. Hope this helps. Good luck!

When you first put the formula inside and attach the nipple, you're supposed to press the air out of the liner (by applying pressure from underneath and pressing the air out through the hole in the nipple) before offering it to baby. Then as the baby nurses, the liner will continue to empty (collapse) as the formula is taken out. If you're leaving air in the liner, you're defeating the purpose of the bottle design. Re-read the instructions on the package.
Good luck!

That is simple. Just mix the formula place it in the liner place the nipple on the bottle, gently push against the liner to squeeze the air out. That way when the baby sucks he or she doesn't suck air into their tummy. My kids loved that type of bottle. Good luck

* Place Drop-Ins® Pre-Formed Liner or Original Liner into Nurser.
* Fill with desired amount of breastmilk or formula.
* Place the nipple, retainer ring, and cap onto the Nurser and tighten securely.
* Remove cap and feed baby.
* Discard Drop Ins® Pre-Formed Liner after use to ensure a fresh, clean bottle at every feeding.

I used to use them. After you screw the lid on tightly, squeeze the liner from the bottom. You'll be letting all of the air out. Squeeze until the liquid in the liner reaches the top of the nipple. All of your air should be out. Hope this helps. Please let me know if it works for you, and/or if I can help you with anything else. Good Luck!

You have to squeeze the bag to get the air out....I think the newer ones have this thing you can push up on but it doesn't work. Just push the liner up until there is no more air.

Wow!...I was under the impression that these bottles were perfect and prevented the flow of air, for less gas.
