My neice is going to be born and I am thinking of using part of my student loan money to pay to save her cord blood because her mother, my brother, nor I have the money to pay for it. Is it worth the investment? What about next year? I doubt she nor my brother will have the money then either.

This may seem like a weird question and maybe i am over reacting but...It seems to me like my 2 month old son avoids making eye contact with me. When i call his name or make faces at him he will look all around but wont look into my eyes or at my face. My husband says his eye sight is still developing but i never had this happen with my first child. Am i crazy or is something wrong? Please help!

My son is 3 months and has been constipated for several days so the pediatrician said give him a suppositorie well my roomate did it and she stuck it in and left it in there and within 5 minutes he started to have a BM. Well now since then everything that comes out of his diaper is liquid he has went 2 times yesterday and 3 times today and normally he only goes once ever other day. So I was wondering well one was she suppose to insert the laxative and leave it in or pull it out and two is it normal that he is not having normal BM it is all liquid? It has been 2 days since I gave it to him.

My daughter is 6 and a half months old. She eats 1/2 cup of cereal, 1 stage 2 jar of fruit & 1 stage 2 jar of veggies every day spaced out in 3 solid feedings (plus she nurses 6 times daily)...I have a few questions

1. When should I introduce meat into her diet?

2. When I do introduce it, should I just add a jar to one of her feedings or what? what works best?

Thanks!!

I am currently using Huggies Supreme for my son. I have heard that Pampers Cruisers are really good too. The Huggies Supremes have 2 stretchy layers around the legs for extra leak protection. I know that the regular huggies and pampers baby dry only have 1. I am curious if the Pampers Cruisers have 1 or 2 bands around the legs. And if you have used both Huggies Supreme and Pampers Cruisers, which do you like best and why? Are the Pampers Cruisers anywhere close to he Huggies supreme as for the stretchyness? Thanks, from one parent to another. I just want to know before I go buy a whole pack of diapers I may not use.

I, myself stopped breastfeeding when one of my daughters was 13 months and the other was 5 months. I know of other mothers who have breastfed much longer and ones that decided not to at all. What are your thoughts on this? How long is too long?

I have a feeling that the in-laws are going to be very opinionated and drive me nuts!
His mother means well but I think she feels that she is coming in to "teach" me and takeover and not respect boundaries.

My mother is coming for a week first and we have discussed that she will be invisible until I ask for her help,.. which im sure will be frequent but I dont want it shoved in my face unasked for.

I just dont want added stress of telling her to back off and give me some space but my boyfriend is well-meaning but I dont think he gets it,.. I am trying to set this up now,......

anyone else ever feel this way?
