I found one in chicago when I was visiting, but didn't have room for it in the car. Now i can not find it anywhere except ebay and the shipping is ridiculous. Does anyone have any clue where I might find one of these?

Is it true that we as moms can't remember or don't have memory in our minds from our babies from 0 - almost 6 months of their lives...I read about this & that it is normal or a phase that we can't remember that first six months... I have notice this I can hardly remeber things from my daugther but I thought it was because it was almost 6 yrs ago but my son is almost 2 & I can't remember most things between those months even at looking at the pictures & my daugther & hubby can remember most things ...Is this normal ??? or there is something wrong with me??? :)

my 6 week old son has a thick coating on his tongue, its white of course, but he is a bottle fed baby well at least for the last 4 weeks. we have changed to soy formula about a week and a half ago because he was totally inconsolable and very moody/gassy. i seemed to wipe some of it off last night, but there seem to be tiny little patches in his mouth, like in the sorners of his lips.

I'm making a game for a baby shower. The title of the game is ...TV/Movie Families.

I need questions for the game. Questions such as

1. Name all 6 Brady kids.
2. Who is Emilio Estevez's father?

If you have any suggestions for a good question I would really appreciate it. Thanks a lot.

Do they learn speech:

faster- because after already communicating in sign language for some time, they have more confidence that they will be understood- as well- by learning sign language early, the neurons have made more connections which, in turn, enables them to learn at a faster rate?

or slower, because they rely on the sign language, instead of speech, because they know that the signs work and that it may be a control issue with some children over their parents (like, for instance, potty training can be a control issue).

Also, do you have personal experience with this? And what is the best way to assist in the crossover?

Thanks!

my baby is seven months old but he is in no hurry to grow up. Don't get me wrong - I love the fact that he still isn't into anything but I just wondered what the average is for boys to start crawling. I know girls do it so much faster. He just seems not to care at all. I'm not trying to push him into it I just wondered when I should expect it.

I have a 7 month old who is about to get really mobile so it's time for gates and many more safety items! However, I still want my dachshund to have free range. I was hoping to find a gate that has a doggie door flap. Does anyone know where I can get one?

Thanks A Bunch!

Of course I am a first time mom and we always want to think our kids are genious' but at 6wks could he possibly? Or you think hes mimicking like a parrot? This is only a small part of my video. he also says hi to his sister when i ask him to. Hes also trying to say the word grandpa now but he just grunts the sounds. We talked to him when he was in utero and I think that may be the only reason hes so good at the word sounds..

Our daughter used to eat all sorts of baby foods (sweet potatoes, green beans, peas, carrots, etc.) We recently stopped breastfeeding and changed to formula. Coinciding with that change is her sudden refusal to eat anything but pears, bananas or applesauce. We've tried putting the food she will eat on the front of the spoon, with the food she's refusing on the back of the spoon..she spits it out. We gave her a spoon to play with while we feed her. Failed, too. I know it can take several tries to get a baby to like certain tastes, but she used to like these things. What should I do?

My brother and his family want to come visit this weekend. They want to meet my 3 week old baby. I would love for this to happen but they each have a cold, runny noses. I said I would rather they wait to come visit until they are better. They think I am being to dramatic and that I need to relax. I think her immune system doesn't need this. It's already gonna be a long winter, why start now??? Was I wrong for telling them not to come as long as they are sick??? And making them angry with me?
