My son is almost 7 months. He used to sleep in his own crib from 11:30pm-9am and would barely open an eye for a 6 o'clock feeding. NOW? He's up several times a night crying, etc. I'm almost positive it's because he's teething. If he gets up within 6 hours of going to sleep, I'll rub some night-time orajel on his gums. After 6 hours I'll give him a bottle and put him back to bed.

You're not the only one! Hang in there!

i have a 13 month old and she still gets up 3 times at night i change her then put her back to bed she gets mad sometimes but she has to know that it is bed time. and it could be teething. but i think it is normal for some kids to get up in the middle on the night. u dont have to rush out and call the dr. it will be ok. maybe u should try siting her bed time back alittle. mine goes to bed at 8pm but there are times she is not ready so i have tryed 9pm. just work with times do change it to much on her make sure they are taking naps the same time every day. and good luck

Yeah it could be teething but if it keeps up for a long time, then it probably isn't that. Most of the time up until the age of 3 or so, all children still wake up but they have learned to go back to sleep on their own. If the teeth come in and she is still doing it then it could be that. It is probably too early for nightmares or bad dreams. I would keep a record and see if she is waking up around the same time every night. If she is, then I would bet to say, its become a habit and one that you have to break. Once, you figure out what is going on, you will have to become bad parent and let her cry it out. Go in and check on her but, don't pick her up, feed her or give her anything to drink. Lord its hard to do and it might take some time, but it is for her own good. If its a habit, she could keep doing it until you stop it and that isn't good for her health or yours. I am telling you this because I am a mother of 4 kids and all 4 of them got into that habit and me being a mommy, I kept doing it. My last one turned 3 on 8-18 and he has just stopped in the past 6 months or so...

It's about that time for her to be teething. If she is fussy even after changing her diaper, or she is drooling more than usual, or even seems to be congested more than usual, it it probably her teething. Her teething could also come with a slight fever, which is common. If you don't want to use over the counter stuff, try using ground cloves for immediate relief. Place a wet Q-tip in some ground cloves and rub on your little one's gums.

My son preferred this to the Orajel. Also try infants Motrin or some other pain reliever for bedtime to minimize night time waking.

Oh it definatly is related to teething. Try putting her pacifier in the fridge and when she wakes at night with a sore tooth and cries, give her some orajel and let her suck or chew on the cold pacy. If that still doesn't work, try giving tylenol. If she still cries, letting her cry for about 10 minutes won't hurt, but any longer than that go in a calm her. Best of luck.

properly certain it really is really generic actual. a three month previous could nevertheless eat about 4 oz. each 3 to 4 hours. If he's sound asleep through the nights some nights it really is fantastic, yet when he wakes us crying it really is a hallmark that he's hungry. toddlers this age extremely do not proceed to exist any type of eating agenda. it is going to replace even up till he's a year previous. i imagine the entire self soothing element is a crock. in case you do not favor to enable him cry out at nighttime...you do not ought to easily because your well being care service says so. My pediatrician advised me that you could not carry a touch one too a lot, or soothe a baby sufficient of their first year of existence. they have a lot of time to develop up....enable him be a touch one for only a short even as longer.

Sounds totally normal to me. Could be teething, could be that she's working on a new milestone. Could be that she's hungry, or cold, or hot. At her age, crying is the only way she has to comminicate. Pick her up, hold her, check her diaper, feed her, whatever she needs, whatever works.

I do not believe you stop being a parient simply because it's dark outside. You cannot harm your child by giving her attention and love.

Yep more than likely it's teething. Check inside the mouth and see if you can feel something trying to protrude. Each one of my kids had 4 teeth come in at one time, it was miserable.
