I give my baby kisses all the time and am always happy around him. I cuddle him and I am constantly entertaining him is there a possibility that it could be to much to the point that the baby does not like the kisses and hugs?

My sister is giving me her bassinet that she used, but I wanted to buy new bedding for it. I have been searching the internet and can't quite find a place that has just the bassinet bedding as an option. Know of any websites that sell this and thank you! :)

I have been a very open minded, very very liberal person. However, a "friend" of mine thought it might be funny to show me a suicide video. After watching this 15 sec suicide video of a teenage boy, I really do have a 100% differnt view on abortion, I cannot see how babies life (for any reason) should be taken away, without extreme circumstances. I saw this video over 5 months ago, the effect still hold strong, so I ask you, am I still a liberal?

If I am breastfeeding my 4 1/2 month old baby and he has really bad gas, and cries most of the time, should I try to cut out dairy. What all foods would this consist of and how long would I need to do it to see a difference? I do not eat any spicy foods or beans, or onions.

No strings attached. I am a grandmother who babysits my daughters baby. I went out and bought diapers size 16-28 lbs. and my daughter doesn't want me to use them. They are still packaged and work great. Fit well and never leaked but I can't do right by my daughters standards. Instead of throwing them out I am offering them free to anyone who might need them. My e-mail address is ralisa49@yahoo. I live in Iselin, just contact me and pick them up. Honestly, they are free.

But he never stops eating, and he gets very angry if I try to use a nuk to pacify him.. this is my first child and I want to know what I can do to satiate him. Dr. said cereal in his milk (hes breast and bottle fed) but he gets gassy from that. I am afraid the give him gerber foods cuz hes so young and I'd fear food allergies..

hes been able to lift his head since birth and has pretty darn good control..

my mom said my sister was on applesauce pretty young but i am not even sure about that. any one?

Should I give my child a family middle name? My other two have family middle names, but , this will be our last, and I don't want to leave certain family out. Who do I choose to name him/her after? Will everyone else be mad?

The room feels stuffy. I don't want to use a humidifier because the instructions say not to use in a closed room with children sleeping. Also, there is the inconvenience of maintaining it. Would a certain fan or air conditioner help? I heard ionic breezes are not recommended.

What is the best place to get a baby's ear pierced? It's $150 at the doctor's office because the use a needle but much cheaper at Walmart. The instruments are sterile and the man is certified. Has anyone taken their baby to Walmart?

My 3-month-old girl has some hoarseness in her voice, which started yesterday. She also has a bit of congestion...but no fever. I called the pedi's office and they said to just monitor her symptoms for another day or so and if they get worse, to bring her in. OK you other, more experienced moms out there, could this be my baby's first cold, or could it be that the autumn-ish summer New Hampshire weather (with its pollen and other allergens) is getting to her? In short, should I be worried? Her hoarse crying is doing a real number on my Mama emotions! :(

My little girl throws a fit when she gets sleepy, she won't take a bottle, pacifier, rocked to sleep. Nothing. She usually cries the whole time till she falls asleep. I walk around with her, put her in her crib. Any advice? When she gets sleepy I would like to put her in the crib and let her fall asleep, but she will start screaming. She is 5 months old.

I chose to breastfeed. I co-sleep with baby after Daddy goes to work. I put the biggest pillow on other side of baby. to prevent her from falling off but she still rolled off. I feel terrible. People say i should get CPS called on me.
I don't think Im a bad mom. I think falling happens to everyone. I bet your mom dropped you before! But...I chose to breastfeed and anyone else who has or does knows its hard to stay awake in the middle of the night to feed, Ive never dropped her from standing position or any other time! She's yet to have colicy formula. And i read to her every single day! I'm a full time mom, and we take the bus everyday to pay bills, and dr. appts. Last year, I was a pregnant senior in high school, and still got my diploma! Okay. I'm trying my best here. Do i need to get my child tooken away from me!?
