I give my baby kisses all the time and am always happy around him. I cuddle him and I am constantly entertaining him is there a possibility that it could be to much to the point that the baby does not like the kisses and hugs?

Well they may not like it sometimes, but there is NO way you could love a child too much! Sometimes my daughter will push me away when i get too cuddly, but she knows I love her and you know who she crawls to when she wants a snuggle!

Hey, teenagers are always complaining of being embarassed by thier parents and then whining about never getting their attention. LOL. That's just the way kids are!

So keep on loving, loving, loving! Snuggles and cuddles are the best thing you can do!

No you can't love your child too much. I kiss my daughter and cuddle her and give her zerbits. Sometimes I really miss her when she takes a long nap.
However make sure they learn how to entertain themselves. My daughter happily entertains herself for a few hours through out the day. There are times that she pulls away when I kiss and snuggle her but it's usually when I have interrupted a game she is playing. As far as an age goes...they will always need love and comfort.

No, you can not love your baby too much, and if you're giving him too much attention, cuddling, or stimulation, he will surely let you know by screaming at you! This is the only time in his life when he will be completely dependent on another person, and for you, the only time in your life when your son is so close to you, enjoy it. Babies who don't get these things grow up to be insecure people.

No way. A baby needs that love and attention. You are doing great. Now if that love and attention turns into something like controlling, jealousy, or sick thoughts then yes you need help. But right now you are doing what every other mother did when they first had a baby. You are excited and loving every minuet of it. Congratulations. It takes some women weeks to bond with their baby. It sounds like you have a great bond with your already.

At a certain point, he won't want you smothering him with kisses and hugs--that's part of what happens when they start growing up. He'll let you know. Nothing wrong with kisses and hugs. I kiss and hug my nephew all the time--he is 1 year and he still loves it.

A mother can NEVER love her child too much! If they could, I would be guilty 4 times over again! My babies are my lives!

You should NEVER think that!! Because if you start to think that then you might begin to pull away from your child because in your mind you think "you love him too much"!! A mothers love is never too much for her "baby" no matter how old!! Please get those thoughts out your head and just continue to love your baby! We need more parents to "love their babies too much" out here in this world!!!

No. You can't love a baby too much. I have a 20 month old and he is such a doll, I can't keep my lips off of him. I think it will make him more affectionate overall. Enjoy...they grow really fast.
