PINKDAISY: My doctor is also telling me that they would prefer that I not have another baby over 9 pounds, which is why they are keeping such a close eye on his weight.
I was induced to have a C-section with my first son when they decided he was just geetting too big for my little frame... but as it turned out.. I went into labor my faster than they anticipated and I was able to have a vaginal birth.

My 1st was 9 pds. & then my doctor of my 2nd said we will not let you have a baby over 9 pds. Wrong the 2nd was 10 pds. , so on my 3rd baby I had a different doctor & got induced 1 week early & was a little over 7 pds. I actually got induced everytime but being early with the 3rd was the key. Just make sure your doctor keeps up on knowing what you want, I feel like with my 2nd the doctor forgot about me & didn't really care. My doctor with my 3rd I felt like I was taken care of & listened to me. Also it's not very good for you to keep having big babies, I had to go for therapy with my 2nd & learn how to do kegals right & all that, NOT fun. Good luck & congratulations!!!:)

My first was 8 lb 5 oz, and my second was 9 lb 6 oz. I only have two so far.
I had both vaginally without any medications, first was a homebirth, second was intended to be a homebirth. I pushed for 22 minutes with the first one and only 12 with the second. She woud have been faster but she was "sunny side up" with her chin sticking out! My hips ached for a week afterward! Wowza!

Well - my second was bigger than my first by a few ounces, but realy, the delivery was SO much better. Labour was a lot faster and almost pain free and we used no drugs whatsoever- I was calm and relaxed - I knew what to expect - and she was born with one, really good, push. After that, I can hardly wait to have a third!
It's so much less intimidating to have a second baby - from the pregnancy, to the birth, to caring for them... What a difference!
I hope you find the same to be true :-D

My 1st son was 8lbs 4 oz My daughter was 10lbs 6 oz!!!! Natural child birth was easy with my 1st, and I wanted a natural with my 2nd, but after more than 24 hours of HARD labor, I was asking for any kind of pain relief!!!! But once they rolled me to my side to try to give me an epidural, I pushed! No relief for me!! I pushed that baby out with no pain relief! They did have to give me percoset in the hospital, and sent me home with a prescription for darviset! It hurt soooooooooooooooooooooooooo
bad!!

Everybody says 2nd & + are supposed to get gradually bigger, but i'm pregnant with my 3rd, and so far it looks like he'll be the runt. If you want to avoid having another watermelon-sized baby though, stay away from sugar as much as you can, especially towards the end.

Newborn average weight at birth is 7.5 pounds.
Some babies by the end of their first year can weight 20-25 pounds but usually at birth weigh between 5.5-10.0 lbs and 18-22 inches in length.

frequently the 2nd could be the comparable length or larger. inspite of the undeniable fact that it relies upon on your weight loss software, your well-being, and so on... in case you improve gestational diabetes, like my mom did with one being pregnant, you will possibly desire to land up with a 14 pounder. My first grew to become into 7 a million/2 lbs, 2nd grew to become into 11 lb 15 oz.. basically eat healthy, exercising, and get a number of fluids and relax. attempt to no longer earnings an ungodly volume of weight, yet do no longer attempt to weight loss software the two. solid good fortune and congratulations!
