I think my almost 9month old son may have an allergy to polyester. The doctor seemed sure it was a virus rash, it went away a few days later and I put him in the same shirt (washed) yesterday and rash seemed to reappear, along with quite a bit of fussiness, understandably. Anyone know anyone who has this allergy? Will he grow out of it?? How severe is this allergy? Should I just count on my conclusion or take him to the doctor again? I really dont want to be one of those moms who sees the doctor for every little thing, maybe I should just mention it at his check up? THanks for any helpful answers!

My 5 month old is only breastfed. She has two tiny teeth and they are sharp. She bit me today and I thought I was going to cry. I breastfed before and did not have this problem. She will not take a bottle or a cup and I enjoy nursing- not the biting. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I am a first time mom and my son is 6 months now so my husband and i are ready to go out once a week for fun. i've had two offers from ppl to baby sit but i can see reasons why i do not trust them. I have no close friends or relatives nearby.
my question is when should you be more laid back about babysitters and should you act on every thing you dont like about the sitter or let some slide? how exactly do you find a happy medium? How many refrences shoudl they have? Or is it just trial and error ? thank you for your imput every one!

My husband is coming home on leave from Japan for 10 days. He hasn't seen our son yet (2 months old) so it's exciting. But he's already told me he's going to watch the baby so I can go out and have some time to myself. I'm scared to leave the baby with him.
He has no experience with any children much less a newborn... any advice?

My son has turned 9 months, and my in laws are leaving, they have been with us for 6 months. Since both my husband and I work, we have been relying on them for child care. They have pampered him alot and he does not crawl, and he gets picked up when he wants and gets given toys. We went to the day care center today and it was horrible. He was crying, but a cry(it was from the bottom of this heart).. that we have never heard before. It was unbearable to hear him and he had only started to breath after we held him. We don't know what to do?The grandparents will leave in 3 days and we are going to be alone, and he will be alone in daycare.Since he only knows how to sit, he can't move much. How do we help him to relax and get him enjoy the day care, without having baby panic attacks?

His weiner is always up and slightly to the left, and of course this is were he is always wet. I've tried making the diaper tighter, I've tried bigger diapers, this is my first boy and I change his clothes like 3 times a day. Any suggestions? His diaper is not full, so I know that's it's not because I don't change him enough, it's almost like he's completly missing the diaper. Did anyone else have this problem?

My baby is three months old, and I know pretty soon he's going to start crawling. We're also going to Mexico for Christmas, and staying in a beach house with extended family, and they recommend bringing his play-pen.
Also, does anyone know how you would go about transporting it via the airline? Would I check it as-is, or pack it something and check it?

Thanks for your help!!
