His weiner is always up and slightly to the left, and of course this is were he is always wet. I've tried making the diaper tighter, I've tried bigger diapers, this is my first boy and I change his clothes like 3 times a day. Any suggestions? His diaper is not full, so I know that's it's not because I don't change him enough, it's almost like he's completly missing the diaper. Did anyone else have this problem?

I am using Pampers swaddlers.... Thank you. I didn't want to hurt his little thingy, so I didn't even consider pointing it down. I will try that.

Yes, I recall going through this, and changing crib sheets at 3 am on top of it! As for me, I found that white cloud diapers at walmart worked tbe best. I tried luvs, pampers etc.. and no diaper seemed to work. You might Try changing diaper brands to see which one works for your baby. When chaninging him maybe make sure he wee wee is in there at a straighter angle too. That might help! Hope this was helpful and all the best to you and your baby! Hope you can have some dry days and nights soon! :)

I had the same prob with Huggies, but the pamper swaddlers worked great for me. Just make sure his penis is pointed down and the diaper fits snug, but not too tight. Make sure you are putting the front of the diaper right under his belly button, because if it is too low he will leak. I have 2 boys and it does get better.

What kind of diapers are you using? I find that the cheap kind REALLY have that leaking problem. I've always had that problem with Pampers Baby-Dry, too.

Try a diaper with a lot of stretch in it. I use Pampers Swaddlers, and they work GREAT! No more leaks, and they hold a ton. Also, Huggies supreme have more stretch to them, too. Those might work also.

My nephew had the same problem when he was a little baby. get the diapers that fit him snugly. and if he misses the diaper and gets his clothes wet let him go without pants on. just a diaper. babies like that. lol also all i can say is just ask his pediatrician what the best brand of diapers is. Gage wore huggies. After he started wearing them he no longer missed the diaper. good luck enjoy him!

I have 2 boys and had the same problem point the penis down before you fasten the diaper. The best diapers for me are the walmart brand "Dry Bottoms" i know that sounds crazy but they are also the cheapest.

If his penis is flaccid (soft) gently tuck it so it is pointing down into his diaper. And make sure his diapers are the correct size. Most new babies wear a preemie diaper for at least a few weeks. Then they finally move up into size ones. Hope that helps.

Yes all little boys do this. When changing him try to point his penis downward. Also my daughter taught me this little trick. When putting the diaper on before you close the sides tuck the top edge of the diaper in then close the sides. good luck and I hope this helps.

you have to point their penis downwards. this is were most of the absorbancy in the diaper is...hope this helps. If NOT then try a different brand that has a better fit, or some of those plastic covers that go over the diaper!

Little boys are great...but yes this is a common problem.. When you change him try to make sure his "wiener" is down so that when he pees it goes into the diaper not out the top. Have fun and enjoy the precious gift !! Kids are great but grow way to fast!!!!
