We want to travel with our 2 month old daughter. Planning on driving around 800 miles one way. We are not sure whether its too early for a 2 month old to make the trip. I may have to cover 800 miles in a day. 1) is it ok to travl with a 2 month old 2) if so any advice?

My baby is almost 5 months old and has been sleeping in her cradle swing ONLY since she was born. Doc said it's okay, but we want to get her sleeping in her crib. We've been transitioning her gradually, by not turning the swing on and having her sleep in it off. But, tonight will be our first day at REALLY attempting to put her to bed in the crib. I am SO nervous! She is a good sleeper and is now sleeping to between 4 am and 7 am without waking (if she wakes before 6am, she'll nurse and go right back to sleep). She was waking once to nurse always, but 2 days ago she started sleeping through till 6 or 7 without it. I am SO afraid that this will disrupt her and completely change her sleeping patterns and put her out of wack, leading to my sleeplessness! I have medical issues that cause me insomnia and so my sleep is more important than most. I am very anxious and just need some reassurance that this will work, even if not right away? Someone out there please help!?

Hi,

Ok, I am 13. For the summer, i am going to work at an "In-home daycare" with an adult. The adult hired me for assistance. She is currently looking after a 2 yr old, 4 tr old, and 9, month yr old, plus HER OWN 6 month yr old. That is why she hired me for the summer, it is a handful. Because she has to devote a lot of her time to her own 6 month yrold, she wants me to mainly take care of the 9month yr old, the other 2 kids (2 and 4), we can share the responcibility. So, this 9 month yr old is sorta a big responcibility. Any suggstions. I love children, and I am really good with babies. I am taking my Babysitters course, too. But I would like some ideas of fun things to do with the babie to have fun. Oh, and can you please tell me some goof techniques of how to soothe a baby when it is crying? This baby is a boy. Oh, and the adult I am with is 25 so I do have assistance. Thanks, I appreciate it!

He used to sleep through the night but for the past 3 weeks or so, he wakes up every night whether it be to eat or be comforted. When he finally falls asleep, he wakes up again crying as soon as he hits the crib!

She doesn't really like to eat the rice cereal or the jars of food. Are there any tricks? I have tried mixing the two but nothing is seeming to work and it is so much easier to just to whip out the breast. HELP!

When I was aroud 5 months pregnant, this dumb stupid man decided to fumigate the offices where I work at. Once I smelled it, I said my boss I couldn't stay, so I left within almost an hour. Next day I came back, but it still smelled and I only stayed for one hour in the morning, and came back in the afternoon for half an hour. On Saturday I only worked 4 hrs. The insecticed they used was for "urban" use, meaning that it's not as harmful?

My baby is 9 months old now, he's thin but very active and happy. The OB said not to worry, the ped. said if anything, it could have cause harm to me, but very unlikely to the baby.

I've heard the insecticides may cause leukemia on adults or unborn babies.

Has anyone gone through something like this? Or heard anything about this? Do you think it harmed my baby?

I have faith that nothing will happen to him...I just wanna know if any of you have had similar experiences.

Thanks :)
