Anne? I like Rose too. I like putting a single syllable in next to a big name like Victoria. I also like Lynn, that is my middle name.

However, a middle name is a great place to honor a late relative. Even if you don't really like their name the middle name is rarely used anyway. My grandmothers name was Harriet. I could never name my little girl Harriet, but as a middle name it would be a way to carry it on. Just a thought.

well it has to go with the last name as well...if we just picked out names it might not make sense with it...you dont want a rhyme or funny name to go with the last name too...

are there any connections to family or history that you want to use? We personaly have both of our children with the same initials...something that is special to us...

However because of the ending sound on Victoria; I personally like shorter one syllable names...something a little dominate...ie

Victoria Mae
Victoria Ann

think about what you will say when you are really really mad...how will it sound? are there any ways to turn the name into a nickname that would be undisireable in elementary school...and then think of one of a parents proudest moments; as they walk across the graduation floor how will the name sound?

That baby is yours; you name her what you like; and it will be the best name ever!
