I have a 4 week old boy and I wonder if I should use a Q-Tip or if there is any other way it should be done.

Only serious answers, please.

Thanks in advance....

There is a baby six days older than my girls (4 1/2 months) in daycare and she sits a little better - and she is trying to roll over. One of my girls will roll on her side -the other doesn't try at all - they will grab my hands to pull up- and we work on this at night. But there has to be something the three of us can do so I can work on both of them at the same time. Time is limited from the time I get home from work and they eat, bathe and they knock out at 7:00!!! I can't keep them awake. Any suggestions for exercises or games to make them stronger or motivate them to try? I feel I do not get to spend a lot of time with them, especially individually, and I hope this isn't hurting them. I know they all do these things in their own time- and that is cool- but if i should be doing something more I want to help.

My daughter (9 months yesterday) is on Enfamil Lipil. A friend told me that Walmart sells the same in a generic form that is half the price. I'm thinking of switching. I've done some research and all I have come up with is the fact that Enfamil is expensive becuase of advertising, etc. All formula is regulated by the FDA. Any input is greatly appreciated.

In the country in which I live, they seem to generally prefer natural births. I had a Ceserean with my daughter, because she was breach, and I was knocked out cold for that. But with my son, I gave birth to him with no help at all, except for my husband and the staff who were great! My labour started about 1.30am, but I had had him by 6.50am, so it wasn't that long, but it was bloody painful at the time!

Is there a certain formula that works best for baby? My fiance had a relationship with another women and has a child. Unfortunently, the women died. The child is now 3 months old and of course has to be bottle fed. Even though it's not my child I still want his baby to be smart and healthy.

I heard alot of bad things come from not breast feeding a kid, but thats..sorta not an option really. So my question is, is there a formula that works as well as breast milk, or what's the BEST formula to use for baby?

I'm looking for someone with personal experience on this one. I'm wondering if there are any signs of autims as early as 6-7 months of age. If there are can you please describe them? I never been around babies before, so I'm not sure what the normal behavior of a 6-7 month old is.

He is feeding on both Mother's milk and a mix of MM and a Premie formula. Unfortunatly, he seems to get quite gassy. Any suggestions?

I have a 7 year old daughter and a week old son. My daughter has spent the past week with her father while I recovered. Today is the first day my daughter has been home with me. I've been non-stop with her, the baby, dinner, etc. I'm utterly exhausted. How do/did you manage your time through this? I could use some suggestions and encouragement.

She is recovering from croup and has two bottom teeth coming up and has had no interest in eating for the last 3-4 days. She typically has a very healthy apetite. She will drink lots of milk and juice AND I'm giving her PediaSure for calories. Should I be super concerned? She really can't afford to lose weight. She is tall for her age but only in the 12th percentile for weight.

(P.S. we just moved to a new country and do not have a doctor yet so please don't suggest taking her to her doctor. We don't have one yet).

Thank you.
