Between 10 minutes and 2 months. There is no way to be more specific than that. Anything else would just be a guess.

Every pregnancy is different. The fact that your baby is in the head down position doesn't mean you will go into labor sooner... Some babies get into position at 20-something weeks...

But if you want to get an idea ask your doctor how many centimeters you have erased...

The head may be down for quite a while before the birth, but not necessarily locked in. No-one could tell you for sure on here when you will have it. Personally, mine were all head down around 36wks and locked in close to the due date but all went more than a week over. Good luck and congratulations.

The only way to know for sure is to have 2 more kids and see if each of them is in the same position at the same time and then see when you deliver!!! Anyone who claims to know when the baby will come is FIBBING!! Anyone who can guess the weight is FIBBING!! If any one person would know it would be God. I prepared myself 5 weeks before my due date because my OB kept saying "be ready now, you're low and the baby is in position.." and I waited with baited breath only to be 2 weeks overdue. By my 3rd pregnancy I scoffed at the doctor and offended his pride when I said "oh yeah, I'll see you in 5 weeks for an induction". I was right.

All three of my kids had their heads in positions for close to a month and a half before they decided to make their grand entrance into the world, so be calm it could be a week or two or it could be tomorrow. Ya never know

the doctor cant even tell you it depends on your baby, you can go over 40 weeks. the baby can be head down for a long time before you go into labor. the baby has a mind of its own. some dont want to come out some want to come out to soon.

good luck and congrats

when i was pregnant my baby was head down, and i was working all along my pregnancy. i stopped a week 4for my baby was born, the funny thing is that i wasn't aware that i was going to be in labor soon. It might be soon, doctors don't really know when you might go in labor its when the baby is ready to come.. good luck

depends really on the baby and your body. With my 2nd child she was head down up until we went to the hospital. She was head down at 32 weeks. She was delievered at 38. She was born breech. No time for turning or anything. It was to late. So it depends on the baby.

my first baby it was three weeks, she dropped head down at 37 weeks,
for my second he dropped head down and I began labor at 35 weeks, and then it stopped when I was 3 centimeters dialated, it was a month later he was born at 41weeks!
it is so different for every person and every pregnancy
