Unless she seems lethargic, pale, weak, or extra fussy, I wouldn't worry about it. Especially if her weight is increasing and she is growing fine. When you take her into the pediatrician, just mention it. She was growing a whole lot those first couple of months and needed more nourishment. Now, her growth may have slowed down a little. Babies eating patterns fluctuate as they go through growth spurts.

I have a 2 1/2 month old. If the baby is growing then I wouldn't worry about it but always ask the doc when it comes to baby questions. My baby is on formula and takes 4-6 ounces every 3 1/2 to 4 hours. He does not sleep through the night though. Just make sure she isn't snacking. I.e. she may be drinking less because she's feeding more often then what she used to. That was my problem...up until recently when I started playing hard ball with him... now he goes longer in between feedings and eats more at each feeding.

Yes it's perfectly normal it just means she's not wanting as much as she used to. The first couple of months baby's are growing and they need all the food they can get so yes it's very normal...

i would say its normal. babies go through phases where they eat a lot, and then they only eat a little bit. as long as your baby is having 6-8 wet diapers a day she is getting enough to eat. if you are really concerned take her to a doctor, but i think she is just fine.

yes this is normal.

my daughter used to nurse for 25 mins on each breast and now she only nurses for 10-15.

this equals about the same amount of formula.
you will notice that some days she eats more than others and that is totally normal

Maybe, but my two drank more. You need to talk to the baby's doctor. Usually a call will do, the doctor will tell ya if you should be concerned.

your baby may be getting "fullier" quicker. But my recommendation, probably like many others will be, ask your pediatrician what is normal for that age.

P.s. formula or breastmilk?
what kind of formula?
powdered or liquid?

Liquids are thicker.

well maybe she is just full.. but usually they seem to drink more.. i would contact my pediatrician and have her checked by him.. a little tiny one like that you do not want to take chances with... but as long as she is eating and she does not act ill i think everything will be just fine...
