my son started smiling at 2 months well newborn first day if u count the gas but the moment he looked at me and intially smiled at me he was 2 months by 3 months he was squealing and laughing and by 4 months he laughed when tickled

I think my daughter started smiling around 2 mths or so but every child is different... my daughter started walking at 8 mths but still hasnt said any clear words except for the mama baba dada

They can smile as early as now, but he probably wont smile at you till around 10 weeks old. The best way to get it to happen is to always smile at him...I mean smile so much your cheecks hurt. I always smile at my kids whe they are babies and then people remark about how happy my babies are. Best wishes

Dont rush it darlin.....the are only that small for a little while..then its all grown up!!
But, about 2-4 months...they really start to get a little personality going within that time....

my docter always said when a baby smiles they have gas but if you pick baby up and baby smiles i think they no who has them and there smiling cause there happy
