In theory, yes. Your eye colour is determined by two genes, which may be dominant or recessive. I assume your eyes are brown; if we call B the dominant gene, and b the recessive, you could be BB or Bb. The possible combinations are:

BB = Brown
Bb = Brown
bb = Blue

If you are the middle type, you will pass one of your genes on to your kid, as will the father. If the father is blue-eyed, he will pass on a b. If you are BB, you can only have a brown-eyed kid. If you are Bb, you stand a 50% chance of having a blue-eyed kid.

A brown eyed mother and brown eyed father CAN have a blue eyed child. However, a blue eyed mom and blue eyed dad CANNOT have a brown eyed child. The reason is that we inherit our genes for eye color from our parents. The gene for brown eyes is dominant so it will "win out" over a blue gene. So, for example, if a women has brown eyes she may have the recessive gene for blue eyes and she may pass that on to her child.
