Make derogatory comments about members of the opposite sex?

I'm not a man hater, I've met some amazing males who have amazing respect for woman but not in all cases.

Recently while I was on holiday I was walking to the petrol station to buy myself an ice cream and a male old enough to be my father (I'm 17 years old) made a very rude comment about my back side and my legs. I found this extremely inappropriate, but I was decided to be the mature one and ignore it.

This isn't the first time that it has happened.

So why do these men think it is appropriate?

It seems like teen girls are seen as weak and stupid. Like a lot of mothers will let their son go to a party, but not their daughter. The son can get away with whatever, but the daughter has a leash. Like the daughter is sheilded and protected. Which is weird, because they say girls mature faster than boys.

Just a random pondering. lol. I've noticed this myself in real life as a 16 year old male, and on Y! Answers.

I have a kinda embarrising problem for a 17 year old.Well see these girls i sit with in Brit Lit (we are arranged into tables of four) any way they talk when the teachers talking and they say some funny things.Thing is they arnt my friends and also when i start laughing i cant stop its really embarrising for me.I really want to know how to stop it and i really dont want to change seats becuase its like the perfect spot.What should i do?

I am babysitting my 12 year old nephew for 12 days. his mother out on a trip.

I ask him to do things, he never listens. I told him put away the dishes and he said "go hump a dog *****". its been 3 days now and he still never took a shower and I told him too and he said "make me you cow". He never listened to me once, does not go to bed the time I told him and always uses cusses and cusses towards me.

So I put a soother in his mouth and put a diaper on him, I treat him like a little baby and cuddle with him if he was a 2 year old. I even give him the routine of I give him a long bubble bath at 7:15, I scrub his hair and take him out at 7:45 and give him a lotion massage until 8:00, then tuck him into bed and kiss him goodnight.

I think he is getting extremely emberrased, I phoned his mom and told him what I am doing and she is fine with it.

Is this a ilttle too harsh, or is it what I should continue

My 10 year old daughter is turning into a tomboy! She loves to hunt and do anything outdoors with her daddy, which is great! I love the fact that she is close with her dad because I never was. The problem is that she likes to wear camo shirts (all the time), and a camo hat too. A woman at walmart actually called her a boy last weekend! Is it wrong for me to want her to look more like a girl? I insisted that her new school clothes be decent looking...not just t-shirts...but not all pink on the other hand! I don't want to take away her personality, I just want her to be a girl!

you might notice another question i asked earlier but it turned into a rucus, i dont blame them. here's the question i meant, what would you do if you got pregnant and your still in school, junior high, highschool somewhere around there and you know your parents will kill ya if they find out, the point is that these situations happens alot, im just doing it for kicks and maybe giggles but this might help those people that would find thereselves in this situations

I have the most amazing boyfriend ever. We're in a long distance relationship but I just got back from visiting him. I'll probably be going up there again at the start of December to visit him again. I'm moving up there in February next year.

Anyway, it'll be our 3year anniversary next year and I want to buy him something really special that's really meaningful.

my parents already had to deal with my older siblings adolescence
but now its my turn
they are too strict on me
they say tht they don't want me to become like my older siblings my older siblings never did anything wrong
just go out with their friends
they usually had to lie to go somewhere
cuz then my parents wouldnt let them go anywhere without taking a younger sibling
im a honor student
have good exemplary friends
i just want to have some fun
but they don't trust me to not even go to the park or mall with them
they want me to stay home 24/7 cleaning the house and cooking while they work
and they used to let me to go to the park before but i always had to bring my rude little brother
i want to live my young days
before im doomed to be worrying for the rest of my life and full of worries
i know right from wrong and live above the influence

My son is 17 and a senior in highschool and he swears he is the only one in the world that has a curfew and a bedtime! Weekends he has no bedtime and if not on a date has to b home by midnight. School nights he is home by 11 and in bed by midnight! Is he the only one? He is a straight a student and on football and basketball team plus works a part time job. My little 11 year old cousin was wondering about a job she can get to save money for her laptop, she's so responsible. She wants to work for about a month and any money she's short of her mom will fill in. Her laptop will be $500 and she also wants an mp3 player and a digital camera. She wants to do anything except babysitting. Her mother doesn't believe that any child should have to watch a baby. The only thing is what will she do. Her mom says that she and her husband wil buy the mp3 player and camera as a reward for being so responsible but she wants to work for her laptop. this happened to my cousin and im trying to help her out. Okay so she and her mom got into a very heated argument and it got to the part where they were throwing stuff at each other. So my aunt got scared and called one of her friends whose husband is a cop. Well instead of her bringing her husband over, she braught over her 18 yr old daughter and her friend. Mind you my cousin is 14 and very small im talking 4'9'' and about 80 pounds. So she braught her daughter and friend to beat up my cousin. I was just getting there when one of them told my cousin,"come on why don't you come and try to hit me, come on take your anger out on me" then she launched herself at my cousin. My question is can my cousin sue that lady and her daughters for doing that and could her mom get in trouble for letting it all happen without saying anything?
please help me!!!
