Would you rather get a nasty STD instead?

Don't feel embarrassed bro. Hold your head up high. Be proud to get laid. It's not illegal to buy condoms at any age, literally a 5 year old girl could go in and get them. People buy them all the time. Just act as if its another item. If your really embarrassed, go to 7-11 and place a few other items on the counter along with the condoms(get a slurpee while ur there). The worst thing that could happen is that they will give you a weird glance. Be shure to get some live to if ur there, condoms rip without it.

Before I was married I bought them a few times, and I kept thinking that it's way less embarrasing buying condoms than it would be going in to the doctor's office with an STD.

When I see people buying condoms, I don't think badly of them at all, I think that they're responsible and smart. I actually have a lot of respect for people who have the nerve to buy condoms and wish more people would have the guts that these people have.

As a teenage yes I wouldhave been very embarassed. I wasn't having sex as a teenage though. I was also embarrassed to buy tampons and pads, but seeing that they are a nessecity I had to.
The first time I bought condoms I was in my early twenties and it was still embarassing because my choice in clerks were a little old lady or one of my childhood friend's little brother. I chose the little old lady.
Vending machines would be a much better option to have.

Buying condoms just shows how responsible a person is. You shouldn't feel embarrassed. Keep buying and wearing condoms.

My son is 16 almost 17 and this summer he asked me to buy him some condoms. He has been dating the same girl for 2 years now. We live in a very small town and if HE bought them it would surely get back to the girls mother never mind EVERYONE else in town. While I was very proud of him for coming to me for this problem and wanting to take precautions when the time came that they do have sex- I did let him know all the pluses and minuses about it all. U know- diseases and blah blah blah.......I did buy them for him. he and I are very close and talk about everything. So yes he was too embarrassed and worried about getting them himself so I did buy them for him. id rather do that then have him have sex without them and become a dad at 17 yrs old.

Pregnancies are on the rise anywhere and everywhere, not just in the UK but in the United States and everywhere in between!

Anybody who buys condoms, weather it be a teenager or an adult is a hero in my eyes.

I know in the USA people are embarrassed, however I would rather be embarrassed purchasing condoms rather than have to tell my doctor my genitals burn, and I believe I have a STD, because I had unprotected sex. 10 seconds of embarrassment vs a lifetime of misery...

for young lads no not really as when your young its a man thing for them, for a girl maybe as she would be would be scared of buying at a local shop for fear of them knowing her etc, I'm not being sexist, its just observations made on my own part, however when there's special places you can go in anonymously and receive info, condoms, the pill etc i believe this is better for them, but most of all i believe kids should be properly educated about it all, if they knew how hard being a young mum/dad is. and all the risks involved in underage sex, maybe they would think twice?

Nope. I would so just walk right up, and be like, "Condoms, please."

It shows that I am smart, but desired, too! LOL.

I think it is stupid that kids would rather get pregnant or get an STD than face some random stranger knowing that they will have sex.
