I have a kinda embarrising problem for a 17 year old.Well see these girls i sit with in Brit Lit (we are arranged into tables of four) any way they talk when the teachers talking and they say some funny things.Thing is they arnt my friends and also when i start laughing i cant stop its really embarrising for me.I really want to know how to stop it and i really dont want to change seats becuase its like the perfect spot.What should i do?

they just tell stupid jokes and it makes me laugh i laugh easily and once i start i cant stop

i have the same problem with mi bfs mates. It's fine just try and hold it in and laugh about it when you are by your self later or if you can't think of sumthing that turns you off and makes you stop laughing

You can try to ask your teacher to move the girls apart because if you're distracted then other people must be too. Get people to back you up on this and then ask the teacher to move the girls so that the class doesn't get distracted. That way, you get to keep your spot and you won't get distracted. And don't worry, people get embarrased all the time.

Umm, I need more details here.
If you mean that they sit there and make fun of the teacher, then don't worry about moving. Chances are what they are saying is true, wether they should be saying it or not.
If you mean that they just sit there telling stupid jokes, then omg....get a sense of humor. I can't imagine how that would be particularly embarrassing for you, but whatever--just get over it. As long as they aren't getting you into any real trouble, you're fine.
