Well, before I get to my answer, I have a question for you: If you can tell that you need to lose weight, why don't you want it to show when you do lose it? Wouldn't it feel good to know that you look better and slimmer? Well, anyway, you should exercise daily, even if that means just hula hooping for 15 minutes for jumping rope for 20. Biking is good, too. In issue #35 of OK! magazine, it gives you 100 easy ways to drop 100 calories. I'll give you a few:
Stand up for 80 minutes, wash your dog for 25 minutes, walk for a half hour, chew sugar-free gum for 55 minutes, vacuum for 20 minutes, give someone 90 hugs, jog in place for 12 minutes, brush your teeth 25 times, smile wide 25 times, or type for an hour.
If you're not allowed to walk by yourself, how about have a family walk each night after dinner? You could take up a few sports at school, or dance with your friends. If you have stairs, run up and down them a few times. Eat a lot of vegetables and healthly food. Instead of taking out chips and a soda for a snack, try a granola bar or yogurt with water or 2% milk. You could even do Weight Watchers. It really works very well. My mom was on it and she lost a whole lot. And they have a Youth Program.

Good Luck! I hope I could help!

What I've done is replace unhealthy foods with healthy foods.
Instead of drinking pop, I drink milk and water. Instead of having a sweet, salty snack, I have some blueberries. And instead of having a double cheeseburger with fries, I get a chicken caeser salad with ranch dressing.

If your parents are wiling to take you to the gym and get you a membership, then I would reccomend that as well. Working out replaces fat with muscle, and all in all looks better. Muscle also helps in the long run with gym classes and sports. If you do get a membership, however, don't work out so hard that you black out. Get to a stopping point, and call it quits. Little by little your body will be able to withstand greater amounts.

Hope this helped, and good luck!

You're a growing girl. Any weight less like this may be dangerous. Now I have two questions?

How tall are you?
Are you mostly muscle or fat?

You see when you are mostly muscle you are healthy. In fact the more muscle you have on your body the more fat you burn. So you may want to look into toning your body which would probably be the better choice. If it's a matter of health, eat healthy foods and exercise (which you should be doing anyway). If I had information, I may be able to provide you with more information.

Well, if your parents won't let you go walking have them buy you a jump rope and some 10 lb. dumbells. Do stretches, push-ups, jump rope, sit-ups. Do 3 sets of 20 on everything with about 15 seconds of rest between each set. (20 push-ups, rest 20 seconds, 20 more, 20 seconds of rest) lay one your back and hold the weights in each hand. have both arms out like your making a cross on the ground. then bring up your arms above your chest streight up . Do this until your arms start to feel stressed. rest a few seconds and do it again the whole time hold in your stomach muscles. get on the internet and look up work outs.

you can lose 10 lbs easily and safe just by making a few changes. Stop drinking soda and other sweetend drinks. Walk to school (or home, if its too dark in the AM). Spend 30 min a day in a physical activity. If you have a dog, walk it. If you have a bike, ride it. Walk to the library or mall to meet your freinds instead of being dropped off. Any of these will help you out, doing a few will change your life!!!

You shouldn't try to lose weight yet. Your still growing. If you want try to doing sports like tennis, basketball, soccer or any other thing. Swim it helps. Also try yoga and try to eat at least one healthy fruit a day. Make your metabolisms faster by drinking a lot of water.
