Oh, that's easy!

With mine at that age, I hinted that 'responsible behavior' would be a great indicator of when she'd be ready to learn to drive. Six to eight months of CONSISTENTLY responsible behavior (following rules, being reasonable, staying in focus, etc.) would be necessary to prove eligibility for driver training and licensing.

Other smaller incentives include being allowed to 'go out' with friends based on week-to-week grades, room clean, nice to mom and dad, etc.

Lots of praise is always good, too. Praise for even small things, and obvious pleasure and pride in the fifteen-year-old for any/all civilized behavior or opinions. You got to work at 'catching them doing something right' as much as possible.

What doesn't work is

o Long lectures, especially starting with "When I was your age . . ."

o Punishments, especially if unrelated to the issue.

o Harping on every mistake.

o Accusing the teen of competing for attention.

o Any second-guessing or character defamation.

Keep it upbeat, and they'll be willing to cooperate!

U don't... At fifteen even though she/he is only a teenager they have now made their own decisions and put their own spin on life.. U as a parent may need to sit ur child down and compromise and meet half way.. Please take my advice I was 15 & pregnant but don't get me wrong I graduated highschool & college. Sometimes u just have to trust that u've been the best parent you can be and trust that u have instilled enough morals & values in your child that they will make the rt decisions.. I wish u luck, rt bk n e time!!

I won't even remark some 13 12 months previous courting - no be counted what your dad does, and so on, even in spite of the indisputable fact that i could want to, I won't. i'm curious in spite of the indisputable fact that, why not purely carry out with your girlfriends? movies, department stores, and so on? What i will assert, whether is, RUN, as quickly as you are able to from this guy! not favourite. feels like a doubtlessly risky situation. in spite of your age, this situation does not sound like a sturdy one. not a healthful one to be in. lower back, no be counted what age a guy or woman is.

dont nag, offer allowances and privilages and show her its appreciated when its done. I used to not do what my mom asked me simply because it bother me that she asked me more than once. Maybe say 'Jane, I need your room cleaned today. You dont have to do it this second, but if its not finished by 3 than no sleepovers this weekend or movies.' that way she doesnt have to jump to your orders and can do it when she's ready but still she knows the consequences if she doesnt do it by 3.

Make a deal with her. If she does what you want she gets something in exchange. It should be fair though

since your screen name is that of a girl, i suggest bribes, or baksheesh as i say. of course, it depends on what you want her to do. if your a guy then try that and flattery, and gifts. at that age they're not tooo smart.

Try to convince her with a well-thought out argument.

But don't make it boring.
