My son use to be a loving little boy and very affectinate. I Love him so much. Now that he is 12 he is pulling away and I feel he doesnt' need me as much. Is this common? How do u deal with this?

I'm just so unhappy because I feel so incomplete. I went to bed crying and woke up crying aswell. I know that's not normal for a 15 year old is it? I have problems [like my hands shake alot wen I'm nervous or something like that] and I try to talk to my mom about them, she always shuns them away as if by doing that can magically make them dissapear. I want help, but she won't let me get it. I can't talk to my dad, he's too old to understand anything now. Both my older sisters are getting to become like my mom, and I have no close 'mentor' like friends that can help me out like that. The only person I can talk to is God. And I pray and pray, and I'm not saying I'm impatient.....And there's there's a guy who I've liked since 8th grade and I don't know why cuz he's brought me so much more pain than happiness. I pray about that too. But I don't wanna be on Y.A.'s my whole life asking for help...how do I get it? I know I need it.

A close friend of the family, who is 16, came by my office yesterday in tears because my step-son started a rumor at school that day that they had sex. (No, it isn't true.) Of course I made him apologize to her, but obviously, damage has been done. I'm also a little ticked at his whole attitute - "It was out of my control" and "It was out of my hands". He really isn't taking responsibility for his actions. I have an idea to have him apologize and tell the class where he started the rumor that it isn't true, etc. My thinking is that it will embarass him as he did to her. What do you think?

if 2 healthy persons have sex ( without condom ).... can they be affected by aids ??? and y do they say lesbians r more at arisk of getting AIDS ... My daughter says she is ashamed of me.She is twenty now and in university and lives with girlfriends.I have not been able to work as I went for a deep dive after my divorce and became a person with cronic depression and anxiety.So much so i now volunteer in that field.Since my daughter made new boyfriend she does not answer her phone for me or anyone else except maybe her friends I am only guessing on the friends part.I have managed to work temporarily and some seasonal work, but very little over the years.I rarely helped out with support and even today find it hard just getting by. I am more optimistic now though in finding work for some reason, maybe I am finally healing. Or maybe I realize my daughter now has two part-time jobs and is in University on a scholarship.Anyway her mother always had a good job and supported her all this time up until a few years ago and then moved away.I alway am nice to my daughter and never comment negatively about her mother.Please help,depressed!!!

OMG! i am so scared and creeped out cuz i keep having dreams about this guy that i went out with and we were like really great friends last year but now he changed. my dreams r so creepy and weird. all the time my dream is about me going out with him and we were all being sweet and hugging and even kissing and it was weird cuz it was like i really felt it. please help. wat is this suppose to mean?

My school is crazy about this. They freak out if you kiss your boyfriend goodbye. I know they don't want people making out in the halls or people groping each other but they are getting ridiculous about it. Its not like people are having sex at school or are doing anything worse during school hours. They will give detention if you kiss your boyfriend. Its not a problem for me since my boyfriend goes to a different school but I think my school is getting crazy. What do you think?

My son is 13 years old. He is a skater. His hair is long, red, really thick and curly. Most of the time his hair is super frizzy and looks like BOZO. When he puts product in his hair it looks decent. It controls the frizz and the poofiness, but he hates to put anything in his hair. He says he likes how it looks all crazy. He looks so UNKEMPT! Should I just let him express himself in this way or demand that he groom himself?
