i find so many people chatting on yahoo messenger. people loitering around to find if someone is online. What is that they want. is sex on their head. please no irritating harsh answers.

It all depends, for the most part people are chatting in chat rooms because they want to find someone to have 'sex' with. However, not everyone. I chat online and in chat rooms and I am a very happily married woman. I do it because I get bored, when hubby is at work. Its a time killer and can be entertaining. And there are plenty of people online who are just there looking for sex, just hard to find them.

Well, stupid as it sounds, I met my husband on AOL. Neither of us was looking for sex. I purposely AVOID anyone who seems to be out for that. There are so many better things to talk about. We both just wanted someone to talk to and over a year or so it turned into more than that. I think that is the best way to get together with anyone, either online or in real life: friends first.

I hate yahoo messenger for that fact. I get on to talk to my friends and there are fifty people trying to get ahold of me that I don't even know. I exited out and stay out. I like yahoo answers though, have talked through Email with quite a few nice people. And yes, I like to flirt too. But not interested in meeting anyone, just want to have fun.

Not all of them want sex. Some of them are just looking for someone that they can talk openly with that will not be judgemental. What is the harm in having innocent conversations with strangers? Now I do realize that some are having cyber-sex but it goes equally for married men and women( I have a friend that caught her husband doing it.) I don't know why you'd want to do that, but people get their kicks in different ways.

At least someone is thinking like me, I hate to critize , but this is not a date line. And yet so many people try to get hooked up here. Maybe its cause they don't get the true meaning of life.
I go here only if I have a spare moment not that I'm here all the time, like some folks. But yet who are we to say, everyone has their own opinion oni t. To me its not at all about the points.Its just a past time thing to do.

I guess the answer is, behind a monitor, tucked in the little discreet corners of the world, are people who are so lonely, sick, and disconnected from reality, they reach out through the Internet to fulfill their needs. It may seem like it is sexual, but truly, there are much larger, substantial needs that are unmet within these people such as confidence, integrity, morality, and a sense of REALITY!

Don't read into it, and if you want a woman who's married and out to cheat on her husband then what makes you think she wouldn't turn around and do the same thing to you? They CANNOT be trusted!!

I look around on I M, but I'm not looking for sex. I need to have more company, so to speak. It's a little lonely around here. There may be some out there looking for sex, who knows? Hopefully you will get the answer you're looking for.

Why do you feel the need to "seduce" an older woman? How old is old to you? As far as I am concerned I would never date a younger man. It would be crazy. I prefer men my own age with similar interests. I cannot speak for all older women but I know i would never allow a younger man to "seduce" me. I think it is very disrespectful and only a sexual thing on the man's part. As a woman I am interested in a man who respects me for myself and not just interested in "seducing" me. However, whatever makes you happy!!
