okay so there's this guy that i like and... well we've been friends for about seven years. he's like my best guy friend and i don't know want two do. we're in sixth grade... HELP!

Since you are only in the 6th grade you should not be worrying about having a boyfriend. Spend time hanging out with friends, going to the movies, mall, ect. Having a b/f should wait until high school.

well this is kind of tricky but i can honestly feel what you are going through my advice would be to at least see how he treats you because he might be looking at you as if you are his sister and if thats the case then maybe it wouldnt be a good idea to confess your feelings because then if you do he might not look at you as a girlfriend type. either way you can decide on your own to confess the way you feel but if thats too embarrasing you might want to do it by making him a tape with love songs and just give it to him with a card even if he doesnt look at you in that way he will never forget that nice gesture good luck to you on what ever you decide

Sounds like you have a good friend. Boyfriends will come and go, but best friends are forever.
I agree with Ryan's Mom wholeheartedly. Save the boyfriends for later. Have fun with your friends now. Enjoy doing things together as friends.

that is the same situation as me.and now i'm in 7th grade except i had no guts and waited to long and he had another gf. just ask him next time you talk to him before he finds a gf and it crushes your heart. don't worry about rejection because if you wait too long, he would be more likely to say no to going out with you.

WHAT I WOULD DO IS JUST KEEP BEING HIS FRIEND. THERE IS NO BODY IN THIS WORL BETTER THAN A TRUE FRIEND.. IF YOU LIKE HIM THAT MUCH AND HAVE KNOWN HIM FOR THAT LONG. JUST GET CLOSER TO HIM AND BE A FRIEND TO HIM THAT YOU WOULD EXPECT TO BE TREATED IN RETURN. NEVER BECOME HIS GIRLFRIEND. ALLOT OF FRIEND SHIPS GET RUINED THAT WAY, FOREVER... TRUST ME!!!!!!
